I have gone through this Home work on Quantitative Reasoning my Cousin failed today according to her teacher but I am seriously not understanding so I decided to bring it here to seek you guys help.

Its quantitative, not mathematics. You followed the examples pattern i.e Hundreds Tens and Units

300+0+0 is correct

The first box is to be filled in hundred. 200, 300, 400, 800 and so forth.

The second box is to be filled in tens. 10, 20, 30, 60 and so forth

The third box is to be filled in units. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and so forth.

This is quantitative reasoning and not pure mathematics. Going by these reasoning the answer is therefore

300 + 00+ 0
Where 00 is still 0

To the people saying number 4 is wrong, ur maths teacher no try. Before reading the questions, take ur time and study the two examples at the top, that's the guide.

Correct way is:300+00+0

It's hundreds tens and units not a straightforward addition.

Teacher was right. The correct answer should be
300+ 0 + 0 following the pattern of other questions and the examples given.

Mathematically the child could be right but this is Q.A meaning if you apply the pattern in this case Hundreds, Tens and Unit, he'd be wrong.

So op teacher is on point.

My friend poster your cousin failed it OK, forthright the example you will see its a sequence in units, why not say 200+90+10. I think is the best ans.

It's not wrong , the tenth one should be '00'.
