Good morning,

Thanks for the information on the UK visa processes. I have a few questions as regards my application for my family and I.

1. We intend to visit UK sometimes in March, 2018. Our plan is to submit the application in late December or January. Hope this is OK.
2. We had a US refusal under section 214b last summer after which we proceeded to SA for our family vacation. Will the refusal affect our chances in any way? I believe it's appropriate to declare the refusal right?
3. I am sponsoring the 10day trip for my wife kids 5&1 and myself. Will a budget of 2.5m be considered sufficient i.e Abt £5,200. Hope this will be OK against an annual pay in excess of 8m excluding other allowances.
4. My organisation operates a staggered payment policy i.e pays Abt 390k monthly and others at different times of the year. How do I input this figure under total monthly income and explain the difference paid at other times.
5. When filling the form; how do I state amount available for the trip for my family members? I'm I to state the £5,200 in every of the application or divide it across the four of us. Again how does it relate to the part that ask how much a third party will be giving you if someone else is sponsoring part of your trip?
6. What should the accommodation read for everyone since we are only use one accommodation. Should it be nil for others, then I put the actual value in mine.
7. How do we tie or make reference to our separate applications that we are applying as a family?
8. Is it appropriate to include copies of property docs in this type of application to further proof ties? If OK, what would be required, estate offer letter, agreement, payment receipt etc.

Hello Tolu I will answer some of your questions and hope other can help with the unanswered ones.

1. It is fine if you apply then, they always advise you apply way ahead of your departure. Incase anything happens you can always react appropriately.

2. Please declare you've been refused if you come across any section that ask you about it. Trust me it won't affect your application.

3. 5200 quid is more than enough, what you'll have to consider is flight&your accommodation cost. If you book something relatively OK in your destination you'll be fine.

4. I think you should just stick to what comes in monthly.

6. Put same address for everyone in the section.

Not having a job could be an issue. Never underestimate the UKVI people. Although your application will be considered under EU laws, the ECO may likely go outside EU laws to apply UK immigration law and lack of financial home tie. Anyway just be honest and be hopeful. So filled as folllows
1. Nill
2. Nill
3. Entered the amount that your husband will provide for the entire trip. This should include tickets for two/shoping allowance etc
4. Enter the cost of your own ticket
5. Nill since you will be staying with him
6. Enter nil. your husband is expected to take care of your living expenses
7. Enter amount as in #2

Ensure that he sent the entire money to you and is reflected in your bank account. Most important include a detail cover letter to explain your financial circumstances to ECO.

Thank you so muvh

you need to have a paga account opened first and then pay in the amount into your paga account
then its seamless from there...

go back to your application then click pay - choose pay with paga - then login to your paga account then viola PAY

or simply put in your card details and you will be debited....
paga is a secure platform- no fear

paid for my family's tier 2 visa costs via paga though as a level 3 account holder (quite a large sum)
it was safely done.

hope this helps

That's no issue at all. Don't try to change the name on the transactions. You must explain the transactions and highlight the fact that your name on your dad's statements is your maiden name; then include your marriage certificate. If you have been consistently doing this way of money transfer for like 6 months, then you would need to include your GTB bank statement as well as your UK bank statements. Highlight your UK bank statement with asterisk on the line of each transaction showing the amount leaving your account to go to your GTB. Then highlight your GTB statements with asterisk on the line of each transaction coming in from the UK reflecting same amount. Then include your payslips amongst other things you have. Then mention all these in your cover letter. This is how to explain origin of funds. Don't forget to include your dad's bank statements too.

With tact you will find out that making a Uk visa application is actually easy.

She doesn't need to add her gtb bank statement. It's not necessary, all she has to do is explain that she sends her dad a monthly allowance from her gtb bank acct, which is still in her maiden name.

Hello house ,
Please my brother was on 5 years which expires end of this month and he has been away from work for past 3months with no salary during the time away from work but he's now returned back to work and has received first salary this month..
Can he apply now for renewal
And can he apply for 10 years
How many months payslips does he need 3months or ,months non at all?
Because for American visa when you do drop box you don't need all those except for your letter of introduction from your employer.
Does he have to wait to receive 3months salaries or 6months to apply for renewal
Thank you.

Why apply for visa when you hardly qualify for one?

If he waits till next 6months will the embassy move or the UK close their border to visitors?

Good morning all,

I would like to apply for a 6 month visiting visa for myself and son.

I earn N134K monthly after tax and other deductions. I also do some one -off side business by the way which brings more money compared to my fixed job. I have a balance of over N3M in my account at the moment. What is the best way to explain the large deposits from my side business?
Also I need clarity on how to fill my 7 year old son visa application form. He has a bank account. Should I attach his account statement or mine for his application?

I await your valuable response.

Biometrics done -July 24th
Application received. - July 25th
Preparedfor consideratn - Aug 5th
Remains under consideratn. -Aug 17th
Called for escalation - August 23rd
Unable to make decision. Sept 25th
Unable to make decision. - 6th Oct

Decision made mail - November 3rd
Visa issued 31st Oct

Immediately went to the collection center without even getting the passport pickup mail. Got there, and was told not ready. Went back there 3:30pm.

Met someone there who was there for collection too. Got my parcel and it was bulky and the other person was flat without a dhl nylon. In my mind... my parcel was bulky because of the inclusion of refusal letter.

To cut the long epistle short.... I got the visa 2years.

Many thanks to everyone that has posted here . @justwise, @Brightingsus, @ ekpotek, Tatpat thank for your insightful advices , and everybody.

The wait was an excruciating one. 75working days. But the wait was worth it in the end.

Good day house. For a tier 5 temporary(religious) worker visa. CoS was issued at £10,000 per annum. Maintenance was also certified on the CoS. Entry clearance was refused because the hourly rate was £5.12 per hour which the ECO said was below the minimum wage. Minimum wage is £7.50.
The ECO after that said the CoS has been used. He also stated that there no maintenance because there is no valid CoS.
His comments on the general grounds for refusal - not applicable. What does this imply for the general grounds?
Advice needed people. Thanks.

Yes he's desperate,

I don't know how that will work, how will he explain the gap between the old and the new bank statement?

Does the final balance in the old 3months bank statement reflects on the new bank statement?
