Thought there was a recent law passed to address this type of evil practice by Nigerian doctors. All we have is unenforceable laws. There is no single day you will wake up with good news about this Country. RIP

And some bastardly bastards are still supporting a president who will run to London for treatment if he has catarrh while our young and amiable youths die every day because of the stupid inaction of the same leaders.

This hell called Nigeria is a disgrace of a country.

so painful. I know him personally, so full of life. He kept asking "is this how I'll die" when no one attended to him.

What goes around comes around, those Diobu hoodlums that shot him will surely receive a payback. The insecurity in Port Harcourt is just too much especially around Mile 3 and rumuokoro. Something needs to be done about it.

And I don't understand why hospitals won't attend to a dying person. The doctors and nurses are so used to seeing people die, they don't see it as a big deal any longer whereas a family somewhere will keep feeling the pain for years.

RIP Chris may God comfort your pregnant wife...

Who made that law in the first place?

That there must be a police report before treatment, uhn!
The funniest thing was that earlier this year or last year, they made oral statement that doctors should attend to gunshot wounds without police report instead of addressing the law the way it should.
Today, it was that man.

What can be done to stop the death of people with gunshot wounds as a result of doctors and nurses demanding for police report before treatment begins.

The question is what is FG doing about this doctors and nurses non challant attitude?

Are this ppl not trained to save lives first? Even if his a robber why can't they attend to him first then call police.

How can nigeria be great when there is no strong law against medical personel when it comes to human life.

How can a patient be dying in an emagency situation and watch him die because no deposit. Well ppl in power don't care they have money to travel abroad.

I didn't attend your wedding some a couple of years back but I heard a lot about you. Your wife is a good friend we all(including you) graduated from the same University. I heard of how loving, caring and supportive you were and I must say, who ever did this, did not only grieve your wife, your family and your friends but grieved a whole lot of people.

I lots every appetite for food when I heard this on monday morning and still haven't gotten myself. How I wish we can turn back the hands of time cry cry

May you find peace away from this wicked world.

Rest In Peace

He was obviously fighting to be alive to have made it to the hospital alive where they should've attended to him right away, not ignore him or keep in waiting. Useless hospital with useless staff.

May his family be comforted, the rot in our medical system is directly proportional to the rot in the Nigerian system as a whole.

An investigation has to be made as to what really happened and how it can be avoided next time? It is however a bit puzzling that the armed robbers shot him in the chest, did he put up some form of resistance?

Now I see why the white people held on to apartheid, we are not fit mentally to handle a country of our own.[/quote]

Sometimes, i secretly wish nigeria and Nigerians are re-colonized. If Nigeria is not cursed then i am not understanding a thing. The whites said 'behold your country, enjoy your freedom' yet we plunder all our resources and dump them in white man countries to develop them. Are some Nigerians sane at all?

But really didn't the NPF say hospitals should treat victims of gunshot wounds 1st? It's about time they started sanctioning defaulters.

In another sane clime, I had appendicitis surgery of $40,000 done without the hospital asking for a dime. I was operated upon and fed for 3 days without paying a dime. Meanwhile, Rivers State is worst than the dreaded Columbian and Mexican cities. The crimes committed against humanity in Rivers State has not been recorded anywhere in the world. Now I see why the white people held on to apartheid, we are not fit mentally to handle a country of our own.
Which hospital charged u $40k for appendectomy?
