Some Lecturers marry their former female students. If the IGP promoted her without following due process, that is where they would catch him. felixomor: |

FarahAideed:Shallow thinking conclusion and a clear hatred of buhari. Because buhari is President any govt officers Bleep up is because of buhari abi? . You are entitle to your own opinion but it is a shallow conclusion to say in this present govt anything goes. every same and educated person in Nigeria knows that this present govt may not be an Angel but FAR better that the rubbish we have in the past. |

hotdealz:The problem is that the romantic affair will come with favouritism which will be unfair to the other colleagues and that will weaken the force. Especially since he is the boss Just use google, Many people who do this in sane countries are sacked Some are even jailed 2 Likes 1 Share |

It's funny to see wailers and Igbos talk about ethics. So you people have small sense like this? I am impressed. Also for those talking about the IG exerting undue influence on the junior officer, men who have held leadership positions can relate to how some female junior staff pander to their superiors in hope of gaining their attention even to the point of outright seduction. This is very common in the corporate world. These women will come and meet you especially when you avoid them. Wón á gbe súnmó e ni. Not every workplace romance between oga and junior staff is initiated by oga. Women can be very manipulative too. |

MayorofLagos: U state my mind bro. I begin to imagine if there are moral and ethical standards in Npf. The man is even married and forget religion, is it morally right to state that in a public that there is no law? This man need to be sack I swear. FarahAideed: The man is obviously very weak contrary to what they told those that voted him,he had always had an assistant who did most of the dirty and crudest jobs which he took the glory,I don't think there has ever been any government in this country whose members/ministers had the kind of internal wrangling that Buhari's government has. These all point to the fact that the man is weak and is not in control ,some people re behind the scene pulling the strings because If as the lord of the manor I tell u as my appointee to do sth and I refuse severally,I will simply show u the exit door to serve as a warning to those who might want to imitate u bt this man doesn't ve the balls and guts to do ishhh. A one chance government indeed.. 1 Like 1 Share |

What a joke of government..By the time Nigerians wake up and see the kind of chain they have been wedge into instead of the change they clamored for; i do hope is not too late by then..And to even think some wuss is supporting this kind of barbarity and gross mendacity is sickening to say the least. Here is government where all security agent are currently looking for someone the president verbally ordered his reinstatement.here is someone been guarded and protected by the same government. So who exactly is fooling who here? It is safe to concluded that governance has finally gone to the dogs with this crass audacity of the IGP. But here are some few questions to the discerning minds 1.Why did the IGP suddenly turn around to accuse Senator Misau of deserting the Force when this allegation first came to light instead of him to prove his innocence as regards the allegation ;only for the police services commission to confirm that Senator Misau duly resigned from the police force?? 2.Why did the IGP rush to court to obtain court injunction instead of defending the allegation against him if he truly has nothing to hide? 3.This was suppose to be a government of anti corruption but here we have the president giving a blind eye to this this kind of scandal by the IGP? 4.Mr. president said the whistle blower's number is still available; so what happened to the one Senator Misau blew on the IGP? 5.Why is it that it is the same government through the Attorney General of Federation hounding the whistle blower here in the case of Senator Misau with the process of court just to defend the IGP? 6.So the IGP claims there is no law stopping him from getting married to a junior police officer; but does he really know about conflict of interest?? Will this concubine of the IGP be willing to subject herself to her superior when she is now belongs to the IGP? 7.Why was she promoted from the rank of corporal to ASP withing the space of a year? 8.What moral impact does this have on the serving police officer even when the IGP can brazenly claim he has done no wrong impregnating and getting married to a junior officer while still having sexcapades with another police office? 9.In a country where the IGP is preoccupied with having a orgy with a junior female police officer; can any good ever come out of such arm of security? 10.He is an IGP that went to hire Dr. Alex Iziyon (San) to defend himself instead of proving his innocence through investigation by independent body. And yet someone in his right mind if find nothing wrong with this? What exactly is the IGP hiding? 11.Dr. Alex Iziyon (San) is a lawyer that maintains two private jet; and this is to show you it does not come cheap to hire him. So where is the IGP getting the money to prosecute a case instead of simply defending himself if he truly has nothing to hide?? 12.Did the IGP invest some of the 120 billion naira he allegedly stole with Dr. Alex Iziyon? because it does take a whole of of bucks to maintain two private jet.? 13.And finally, what does the IGP know about the electoral fraud that took place in Kano during 2015 elections and why was the REC killed?? Why is the government running in circles to protect a clique of evil from Maina, to the AGF to the Minister of Interior, to the Buratai..And the list goes on and on.. Why is the government been held to ransom by the circle of evil?? What secret is the government trying to protect?? Will the IGP ever be sacked?? This is surely a very bad time to be a Nigerian now. 2 Likes |

Benita27:did anybody complain of harassment? Is it not possible for a junior officer to even initiate the move since she admire the guy? The funny part is when things don't work out as they plan they usually come out to cry and claim the victim....sexual harassment... the only thing women can do best is to destroy a man's Career since the time of adam |

midolian:Mr defendant, what about her promotion from corporal to assistant superintendent within 12 months? I can see that the IG is gradually accepting some of the allegations he earlier said was false. The IG earlier denied having romantic affairs with any female corps but because he knows the case has gone beyond the limit he could handle he is beginning to accept some and one sycophant is here on nairaland defending him. When Idris resumed duty, he was keen on indicting his predecessor - Solomon Arase on corruption case. What a funny world! The hunter has become the hunted. Remember what happened to those who reported SHEDRAC, MISHAC and ABEDNEGO in the Bible. Likewise the reporters of DANIEL to the king and reporter MODECAI to the king. No reporter or amebo peddler has ever ended well. Now, Arase is free, Idris in the hook. 2 Likes |

midolian: Pls,pls and pls. while office promiscuity may not be unconstitutional, it however unethical for a boss to date his/her subordinate. It breeds bad vibes, negligence of duty and gossips at work. I'll surprised if it's not enshrined in our constitution , especially for the armed forces 1 Like |
