Asides Moses, I guess no other key player is missing for us. Argentina without Messi is worse than Bolivia. Talk more an Argentina without DiMaria, Mascherano, Romero n co.

See Argentina's lineup for training today (and most possibly for the game on Tuesday).

Marchesin

Insua
Pavon

Papu Gomes

If we use our strongest available team (which i suspect would happen), we should defeat this team by AT LEAST a 2-goal margin.

Joebie:
ENG vs GER

I'm almost done watching the first half

For a debutant, Tammy had a pretty good game. Good positional awareness. Was never overwhelmed by the occasion. Good link ups. Did not play like a debutant. Great attempt at goal. So far i'd give him a 7/10.
weytin you go talk before, aren't you his biggest supporter here

I voted Victor Moses because I sincerely think he is best.
Having said that, this is more like patriotism. ACTIVELY supporting one's country or countrymen over others.

This is not an example of nepotism.

Taliban:

Joebie is this part of corruption the one called nepotism grin

Mujtahida:

Agreed but to say competition is not needed is to do him and the team a great disservice. My point is not on 'bestness' or otherwise but saying competition is not needed.

Where did I say competition is not needed?

What I said is Shehu stands apart. Meaning he is a clear favorite among the RB options.

If he performed badly I would say. But wetin most of una go talk before, especially after claiming that he cursed us, slapped us in the face etc.
I expect bad belle. You guys are not qualified to comment on Tammy's performance OBJECTIVELY.

oga icon sorry to have me say this....no offense please..

you're quite conservative...you rarely believe in making changes..

if you will remember none of us ever know how good akpeyi was during keshi stint because he kept playing agbim and never give the guy a chance...

but today where is agbim?

sometimes it is good we test this players...and then stick to the best.
why stay with better when we have the best...

See don't make this simple arithmetics a complex differential equation.

The point I made is Shehu is ahead of the other RB options.
As simple as that.

Talking about trying other players, go check my preferred starting line up against Algeria. I started Ebuehi at RB.

Shehu is currently our best RB. Say other wise.

Well I'm not among the "all", the coach is in charge, he will decide who goes or plays come Tuesday bro. We all want the best. Kayode is still in the system, Osimhen to me should wait his time.
Kog45:
OK O I don agree one more trial but when Kayode had 15 mins against SA we all said Rohr have seen him enough,no more invitation, when Osimhen had a comeo appearance we said he was too young

But Nwakaeme need another trial, when Kayode is on the bench looking for another opportunity. Please is Nwakaeme better than Kayode?

Remember Aina came in against Zambia less than 12 mins we all saw what he can do,against Algeria he had a decent game, the same thing Shehu he seized the opportunity when it matter most.Oyekwuru came in against Algeria we all saw the glimpses.Ogu after a long time waiting came in with a goal and MOTM.

Why can't Nwakaeme show his stuff so that we can forget Ighalo, funny enough Iheanacho was pushed to the wing to accommodate him.

Hope he prove me wrong if he had another opportunity against Argentina because guys like Peter Onuachu,Desserts,Osimhen, Awoniyi,Umar Sadiq are waiting to impress.

your comment is born out of patriotism and is understandable. i bet you these two players(perotti and dybala) will give Nigeria defense a good run for their money.

Ogu is not a good tackler.
True but he's also not a bad one, he relies on his intelligence, but I'm sure I was not the only one who saw the vital interceptions he made, it's not all about tackle, busquests hardly tackles but he's one of the best.
Besides ndidi or onazi can always do the tackling

Aguero scored is 1st goal in 2 years now against Russia in the int'l friendlies. Aguero would have been axed from national team if he was in SE. Nigerians are impatent

I STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH YOU , Aguero's recent perfomance at club level has kept him in that team ... Nigeria players that were axed from the team didnt have any good club perfomance, also national team perfomance was awful . Only martins had fair performance and he's not playing in a competitive league...in fact , hes close to retirment .
