I feel your pain bro...we heard of this 45k issue last year. d tin b like rumour, we no knw say na una body dem wn take launch d package. d tin b say many yeye pple go still rush go pay...The skool feez wont go back to 14k for u guys..but if dem reduce am at all....den it will for btwn 30k to 40k.

Why should UNIBEN management increase school fees at this material time, when parents and guardians are finding it extremely difficult to cope with rising inflation and shortages? Coupled with these is the non-payment of salaries and pensions by state government, including Edo State. It is the highest point of heartlessness for the school to do this, especially at this material time. Most of most in management officials
of the school schooled almost free-of-charge in their times. Why are Nigerians so heartless these days? Students do not resume school until the school management reverses whatever so-called increases there are.

This is injustice of the Highest order. Before some people will quote Me and say some schools pay 400k per session,Know that you can't buy an Original iPhone 7 and a cloned iphone 7 for thesame Price.

Hostel fees from 8k-20k.
If you've been to Uniben Halls of residence, Halls 3 and 4 precisely, You'll know why this is very annoying. A 150% increase with no Form of prior notice is just alarming. 8 People share a Room,and over 200 people one toilet? Please Please. Talk another thing.

Transfer Fees from 50k-100k.
One the transfer form, TRANSFER IS A PRIVILEGE AND NOT A RIGHT is boldy written on the front Page.
I tried transferring last session when it was 50k. The school knew quite alright the department won't be able to accommodate more than 20 new students, but over a 100 forms were sold. Only for 19 to be taken. This is for only Pharmacy, I'm not talking about the other departments in the school.
They will continue selling only for you to see you were not transferred. If not for God I would have failed woefully last session.


School fees from 14400-15400,12400-13400.
Before you say the Money added is small to be protesting, know that the amount is not the issue but the attempt to play with the intelligence of Almost 75000 students is the issue.
The school management said the additional 1k is for SUG dues.
Please, Which project will the SUG execute in 1 session that will amount to 75 million Naira? This is a ploy to silence the SUG to prevent Protest from the Students. and we say IT WILL NOT WORK.

If they use force, we will still protest.
If they lock us Outside, we will still protest.
If they cut the Power, we will still protest.

as in eh, the way the rumor spread this morning weak. This is uniben Medlab dept this morning, there is no fire anywhere

This generation has lost touch with the original philosophy of Students Unionism in Uniben! Notwithstanding, I support you guys on this protest. I didn't spend up to #1,000 on registration and accommodation for the six years I spent in same Uniben.
