There is absolutely nothing wrong in dreaming big,aiming for the "ideal" partner,elaborate wedding,a faithful man,virtuous woman,wealthy spouse,tall,handsome,romantic man,curvy and sweet looking lady and on and on and on...

But until we all learn to draw a line between our fantasy and the real world,until we meticulously make a decision to go for what we can get rather than what we dream about,then many of us who are mature and unmarried may remain in that position for a veeery long time.

Ceralac is #2500 per tin & that lasts for days, baby diaper is about 6k for 100 pieces, house rent for a couple and their kid(s) can vary but ideally 300k especially in lag. Let's not even talk about school fees when the child comes of age.

If u think negative don't expect positive things to happen to you, what you don't seem to realise is if you thing ur in a bad situation there are people in an even more worse situation than you are in, u need to STOP complaining about what you don't have and thank God for what u do have, I don't think you are reading in between the lines are u? You sound pretty bitter, which one is primitive again? I totally get your point but each man to his opinion. I have certain standards I have for whatever kids I have (if I ever become a father) & they won't change. If your means supports whatever standard of living you and your family have, great. I won't be entering a marriage where children's basic needs will be hanging on the probability of "God Changing My Condition". Remember other people have different standard of living they want their families to enjoy.

I ain't bitter about nuffin I am just being crude, just cos u don't have sufficient money it don't mean u can't have a kid, or will u wait till the woman gets to menopause?, if das so den u can consider youself as single forever!!!!!, most of us don't have money to rais a family but we have money to fvck ashawos and carry dem innit das how dumb naija people are innit fam

Fvck ashawos? I thought we were talking about marriage, financial responsibilities et al. Like i said each man to his opinion. I know of a childhood friend in his early 20s with two kids from 2 girls, living on less than 40k monthly, guess some people can live with bringing up kids like that.

Lol. How many people see 20k monthly? Quite plenty, this is nigeria not somalia or something. If it works for them good, 20k when I was still in the UNI wasnt easy to manage. How much more a man with a child and wife.
