The use of tempered glass can't be overemphasized but careful handling is the way forward (not forgetting luck). I have TP installed on my RN4x but the screen got shattered still due to the gravity of the hit.

Buy a complete LCD screen or just the digitizer (if you're sure of successful separation of digitizer from the LCD)

redmi note 5a ....the phone is cool...camera wise..it's fast...good for multitasking... generally it's been great so far since I joined the mi community a few pictures from the front camera and I just updated the device from 9.1---9.2miui..thanks to noobody...
