Islam is about beleiving in One true God, who is the Creator and Sustainer.

God has many names (99) in Islam; Allah is however the most generally used name. If you sincerely pray to Allah to guide you, he will open your heart to the truth. We believe that we are here in this world as a test, those who believe and do righteous deeds will be rewarded in the after life.

It is important to note that Islam, or submitting to the will of God was present since the beginning of time. God wants us to believe in Him without having seen him in this present world, and that's why it's a test of believing in the Unseen.

God sent Prophets/Messengers to humanity to guide them to beleive in Him. Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad are all sent by God for that purpose.

Muhammad (pbuh) is the last Prophet/Messenger to the whole of humanity and the Holy Quran is the final revelation.

We believe that all the messengets preached the same message about oneness of God and belief in the unseen.

We also believe that the world we love in will soon come to an end, and there will be a Day of Judgement, where everyone will be resurrected, and God Almighty will judge between us and bring about justice to all the injustices that have taken place in this life.

We also believe that God Almigty is present high above the heavens over His Majestic Throne, and he is All Encompassin, All Knowing, Eternal Being.

We believe in the after life, those who Beleive & work deeds for righteousness for Allah’s sake will be rewarded with the Eternal Paradise. Paradise and Hell are very much real, and are a different realm, which we can pass into only after death and Resurrection.

We believe that those who disbelief in God and the unseen & who do wrong evil deeds, will be punished.

There is nothing to lose in believing in the unseen and acknowledging the existence of the one true God. In fact it gives us peace and true happiness.

We know that nothing good we do will go in vain and there is a reward for everything good.

It takes a simple sentence to accept Islam: it is the shahadah

Ash hadu An laa ilaha illallah ———-There is No God except Allah

wa Ash hadu anna Muhammadan Abduhu wa rasulahu ———-Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

It is best to take the shahadah in front of witnesses, Muslims, or in a Mosque.

those who accept the shahadah sincerely, Paradise will be there eternal abode.

May God guide you towards the right path.

Lol, not necessary bcz of your moniker (even though it is a funny one). It is actually bcus of some diehard christians we have debated over the yrs on this platform. They would create different monikers and asked the same question you asked. We were happy to provide them answers not knowing they are undercover core christians seeking to mock us. After providing them answers, they would shun us and said 'it doesn't make sense'. And then started to quote bible until we bursted them.

ABOUT YUSUF ADEPOJU: Who Is Yusuf Adepoju? A Quick Background

YUSUF OLATUNDE OLADIMEJI ADEPOJU www.yusufadepoju.com

All-Mighty Allah enjoins men to engage in meaningful dialogue in searching for the truth about His Might and Unification, so that man can know the truth, uphold it tenaciously and consequently walk on the path of Paradise. Allah, the Mighty, puts it this way in the Glorious Qur’an: “Invite all to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching and argue with them in the ways that are best.” (Qur’an 16 verse 125). Even in the Bible, it is stated thus: “Prove all things and hold fast to that which is the truth” (1st Thessalonians, 5 verse 21. In Isaiah, Chapter 1, verse 16-18, it is stated: “Come, let us reason together.”

It is the principle of these phrases, that fired the desire in a group of talented youths to come together and create a forum for the exchange of ideas about how to know God All-Mighty and the most acceptable way to worship Him. These talented youths were also disturbed by the alarming rate at which children of Muslims were fast drifting away from the path of Al-mutaqinn, (the believing ones), as a result of ignorance and lack of knowledge about the Deen-Ul-Islam, (Allah’s ordained religion for His creation). The untiring efforts of the talented group culminated in the formation of a Mission named “ACADEMY OF ISLAMIC PROPAGATION”, (ACADIP) in 1997 in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Yusuf Olatunde Adepoju, a major character in the initiation and formation of ACADIP and now a renowned comparative religious preacher, had since 1990 started attending the Islamic Vacation Courses (IVC) being organised by the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, (MSSN). From there, he came to know about the works of that great South African Islamic scholar, the late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat and so, in 1991, he started reading his books. As providence would have it, in 1992, Yusuf met Dr. Dawood Amoo Alaga, a prominent mover and motivator of Muslim students, at one of the IVCs, and became interested in his, (Alaga’s) lectures. On each occasion Yusuf had opportunity of listening to Alaga on comparative religious preaching, he was always charged, motivated and inspired to follow suit. No wonder, therefore, that in 1994, Yusuf started with indoor debates/dialogues with Christians. In the same year he reached out, delivering lectures on Islam in secondary schools, like the Federal Government College, Ogbomoso, in Oyo State, the Federal Government Girls’ College, Ipetumodu, in Osun State and at Government College, Offa in Kwara State. In 1995, Yusuf moved a step further by taking the ‘dawah’ task beyond educational institutions. In that year, he publicly preached for three consecutive days and nights in each of the farming communities of Owode Eleepo and Elegiri, both in Ondo State.

In 1996, the desire to silence the enemies of Islam and as well to correct the unfortunate trend, among the Muslim Umah, whereby Muslim children were usually left unguided and thus allowed to drift away from the religion of Allah generated a powerful zeal in Yusuf to start publication of Islamic pamphlets and tracts to assist in propagation work. The two-fold desire to halt the assault of anti-Islamic preachers and house-to-house canvassers and the ugly incidence of weak Muslims being carted away into Christianity drew duo of Yusuf Adepoju and a fellow Muslim brother, Abdul-Afeez Igbayilola together to quickly form a Dawah Group. They started Dawah work within the campus of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), where both of them were then students. This group started expanding and, by the following year, 1997, others like Engr Suraj Subar, Moshood Ajayi, Naheem Odebunmi, and Jamiu Odunbaku joined them and co-founded the virile Academy of Islamic Propagation, (ACADIP). Its mission slogan is “ACADIP, UNCOVERING THEIR COVER-UPS!”

By 1998/99 academic year, the fold of Islamic Evangelists increased by four, with the coming on board of Abdul Azeez Oyelami, Tajudeen Akinsowon, Taofik Adeoti, Saheed Oyedotun and Mutiu Oladeji. The same year, ACADIP extended the frontier of its Islamic propagation beyond FUTA campus. They started staging ‘dawah’ programmes in Akure, the metropolis of Ondo State. Their first public lecture in Akure was held at Agoro bus stop, High School Area, where the group, led by Yusuf recorded its first convert to Islam, (a female). Then, they held a three-day lecture series at Adejare and Igboliki areas. It was during these days, that a one-time Christ Apostolic Church choir leader, Bro. Oluyemi Emmanuel saw the light of truth and embraced Islam. Today, Bro. Emmanuel is now known, called and addressed as AbdulFatai Oluyemi. He is today, by the Grace of Allah, (swt), an active da’yat in ACADIP. In 2000, the Ansar-Ud-Deen, Akure branch organised a 2-day programme at Araromi, where we had two converts in the persons of Tope, now Dawood and Tunde, who turned Abdus-Salam. He, Abdus-Salam later died in a motor accident in 2006. (May Allah grant him Aljannat Firdaos).

From 2000 thenceforth, ACADIP programmes were severally and serially held in some Akoko towns like Afin, Ikare, Oba and in many Ekiti State towns like Erinjiyan-Ekiti, Ado-Ekiti, Iyin-Ekiti, Imesi-Ekiti, Ise-Ekiti, Iworoko-Ekiti as well as in Ogbese, Obada and Afolu among others towns where, after listening to ACADIP lectures, many Christians converted into Islam. ACADIP, there and then also achieved successful return of a number of individuals who were born into Islam, but who had once before strayed into Christianity. In 2001/2002, ACADIP began ‘Town-moving Programme Series’ like Akure for Islam, Ile-Ife for Islam, Osogbo for Islam, Ilobu for Islam, etc. These programmes further popularised ACADIP such that Muslims organisations like ADS, YIRON, TMC, OMU, NECOMBAS, ADYAN, FOMWAN, NASFAT, FATIHU-QUAREEB, JNI and MSSN in various towns and branches were inviting them, particularly their Chief Lecturer, Alhaji Yusuf to give lectures on comparative religion at regular time intervals.

At this juncture, it is desirable to know the historical profile of that personality, Yusuf Adepoju, who is the driving force behind this new order of dynamic and captivating Evangelism of the auspicious Academy of Islamic Propagation, (ACADIP) that is projecting Islam in its natural and undiluted perspective; strengthening the faith of practising Muslims and which, at the same time, is awakening those unwary, lukewarm or rather, nominal Muslims from their slumber. Enthusiastic Muslims, in due appreciation to Allah, (swt) for given them Yusuf as well as many disgruntled enemies of Islam, for their ulterior, indeed, diabolic motives have always asked, and quite incessantly too, “Who is this Yusuf Adepoju?” Yusuf’s resume runs simply thus:

Yusuf Olatunde Oladimeji Iyanda Adepoju is a native of Ilobu in Osun State. He attended Local Authority Primary School, Gbobamu, Ilobu in Irepodun Local Government Area of Osun State. He had his secondary education at Ansar-Ud-Deen Grammar School, Erin-Osun, Government College, Ibadan and finished up at Fakunle Comprehensive High School, Osogbo before he proceeded to the Federal University of Technology, for his tertiary education. His father, Alhaji Jamiu Adeniyi Isola Adepoju, an Islamic activist and jihadist, is a retired school Principal, a former Chairman of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in the old Oyo State and a former Civil Service Commissioner both in Oyo and Osun States of Nigeria. His Mum, Alhaja Amdalat Ibidunni Abike Adepoju, is a retired Secondary School Principal and the former FOMWAN Amirah of Irepodun Local Government, Ilobu. Yusuf is number two of the seven children of his parents comprising of one female and six males. His hobbies include reading, researching into religion and traveling. He started preaching in 1995, founded the Academy of Islamic Propagation, (ACADIP) same year, and six years after, he founded ACADIP Security Crew, (ASEC).

Yusuf had engaged in series of debates/dialogues with prominent Christian evangelists, pastors and other notable Christian leaders. Pastor Kunle Salami of Chapel of His Glory, Ado-Ekiti once engaged in dialogue with Yusuf in a programme organised by the Muslim Student Society of Nigeria, University of Ado-Ekiti branch. Others are Pastor Ajayi of CAC, Pastor Sola, Pastor Agboola, Pastor Esutu, Evangelist Akinwumi of CAC and Evangelist Folowosele of Ipetumodu. In the last Eighteen, (18) years, Yusuf has delivered lectures on comparative religion in over one hundred, (130) towns and twenty, (29) higher educational institutions. Alhaji Yusuf has written eighteen, (18) different Islamic booklets (in English and Yoruba) while thousands of known converts to Islamic fold had been recorded, while more are still converting.

Yusuf performed the Holy pilgrimage in the year 2001 and has subsequently visited Saudi Arabia several times for Umrah. He was once received by Dr.Nasif Abdallah, former Vice Chancellor, King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah and later the Speaker, Saudi House of Assembly. He has visited nine countries in West Africa and beyond, including Egypt, Rwanda, South Africa and England. He is happily married and blessed with children.

Yusuf has by the mighty power of Allah, (swt) tremendously propagated Islam and through his preaching, he has assisted many to regain their golden faith of Al-Islam. He has also trained and developed more than fifteen people in comparative religious preaching. He is not done yet, as he plans to establish an Academy where comparative Dawah methodology would be taught. This, he hopes would help in almost completely silencing enemies of Islam and combat their diabolical activities against the unsuspecting Muslims in Nigeria.

Yusuf is currently the Managing Director of Islamic Cultural and Enlightenment Centre, (ICEC), Ilobu, an establishment founded by his father, Alhaji Jamiu Isola Adepoju, some forty-eight, (48) years ago. At his young age, Yusuf has, no doubt, caught a niche for himself in the propagation of Islam along the line of Comparative Religion. Along this line, he has developed strong working relations with other comparative preachers, at home and abroad. Such preachers include Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, Prof Jamal Badawi, Dr Yusuf Buccus, Dr Dawood Amoo Alaga, Dr Buniyamin Alalaye, late Alhaji Yunus Akewugbajesu, Alhaji Abdulahi Kunle Olorunoje, Alhaji Abdul-Fatahi Jagunmolu, Ustadh Muhideen Jesu-okola, Ustadh Ismail Agbeti, Evangelist Abdul Rahamon Omojo and Ustadh Yusuf Maberra, and others.

Laudable as his achievements could be, the journey has so far not been all that smooth. It has not been a bed of roses at all. Alhaji Yusuf had experienced a lot of challenges along the line; but when he looks back, he has cause to glorify Allah, (Subhana Wa Ta’ala) for enabling him to weather the storm. The major problem facing the ACADIP are finance and logistics to procure Dawah Buses and instruments like Public Address System, Generating Set/s, etc. Another challenge has to do with coping with the difficulties faced by the Muslim converts. Most of them are faced with stigmatization and neglect by their relatives simply because they have seen the light and embraced truth.

Right from the beginning, the young preacher was faced with criticisms, even among some nominal Muslims. On some occasions, there were threats on his life. He had escaped assassination planned against him on a number of occasions. Some Christian groups severally petitioned the Police and the State Security Service (SSS) against his public lectures and debates. They went to the extent of vandalising ACADIP lecture stages on several occasions to disrupt organized lectures. But, Alhamdulillah! whenever Alhaji Yusuf looks back to the glorious past, he always gives thanks to Allah (swt) and all those that have contributed positively towards the successes of his Dawah activities, both living and dead.
