I did my verification on Wednesday last week and filled a form at the Secretariat, now am hearing that we have to come back for verification, any truth to that..
Location was Abuja, Bwari area council

I was at my secretariat today at Apapa Iganmu and we were told to come back tomorrow.Secondly, @Npowerng this issue of pre-selected applicants not seeing their names on the verification list needs to be looked into and something urgent should be done about it. Perhaps text message telling each applicant to go to his/her exact registered LGA as you have it in your database because the number of pre-selected applicants who will miss out on this verification exercise would be huge and for most applicants this program is like the last hope to earn a living. So kindly please do something about it to prevent people who are having this problem of missing names on the list from missing out of this once in a lifetime opportunity and also to proof the transparency of Npower.Thank you

Please sir can you address the issue of residential permit? A lot of us do not have it. Can't we give our address cos if you still insist on residential permit it involves a lot of process and money is also involve.

Just so you know, your officials in Mubi North Local Government, Adamawa State insisted we pay N1000 for I.D Card.


You only get posted after you have paid (N-Teach).
You will not be posted if you do not pay.


Apart from the money extortion, the verification process has been going well.

The Physical Verification stage is the process of physically verifying the Age, Gender, Residential Address and LGA, Academic Qualification, and NYSC completion of applicants.
Physical Verification will actively commence today, Monday, December 11th. Please note the following
1. Your Physical Verification Center is your Residential Local Government Area Secretariat.

2. 2016 applicants on the waiting list are expected to partake in this physical verification exercise
3. Follow instructions at your centers. If the instructions at your centers conflict with anything we have posted here, the information posted here supercedes
4. Be orderly. Be courteous
Before you step out of the house. Ensure you have the following
a. All documents required for Physical Verification. Please see Image 1 below
At the Residential Local Government Area,
1. Do not pay money for anything to anyone. The N-Power Physical Verification exercise is free.
2. Do NOT give anyone your BVN slip even if they request for it. Please tell them N-Power says NO.
3. Report anyone asking for money.
4. Report any applicant giving money
5. If you are certain you were pre-selected and don’t see your name at a particular LGA of residence, check other LGA’s you might have written down.
6. Disregard anyone who approaches you that they can help you make it to the final selection, they are lying and will scam
After you have concluded the Physical Verification Exercise
1. Stay tuned to our official social media channels for next steps.
when are you going to pay our stipend? December is halfway already plus the 13th month. Hope you have not use of stipend money for mmm?

in sokoto south, LG chairman in collaboration with npower officer are collecting 1k from non indigen for resident permit apart from utility bill or Napa bill been presented to them, but my question is that ., are we not the same Nigerian?
