Congratulations @deeore. All the hard work and persistence has paid off.

Please i need to ask about the International Credential Evaluation; I read on a thread to only evaluate the highest credential. For me this will be my MSc. But will I get more points if i evaluate my BSc as well? Sorry if this has been answered already.

You can only claim points for your highest level of education (MSc) and not both.

Hello All,

I just need to vent for a second. I am preparing for IELTS in January and I am finding listening practice test rather challenging. I have done over 40 tests on YouTube. My issue is that I don't even know which ones are real because when I do the ones posted by some channels I rarely get higher than 34, they are wickedly difficult but when I do the ones by some other channels I always get 39 or 40 and I feel they are too easy. It's confusing, how do I know which ones are real? They all have similar patterns and voice recordings.
I really need to improve my listening. My husband that I am the one that tells him what they say in Oyinbo films(he doesn't hear their accent) is even getting higher scores in d practice tests. Any tips Pls helep.

What practice tests have you been using? so we know what to recommend.

Sorry about your low score.

You certainly need to re-write the IELTS and aim for LRWS 8777 or more/higher. This would boost your score.

Then your age would also determine how high your score would go.

You need to re-write IELTS and score a minimum of 8777 in LRSW. This might boost your crs to over 400.

Age is also a factor.

Good evening everyone.

I am actually new here and My question is on POF.

Question: If your POF is a gift from brother ( Same Father and Mother) If I present a gift of deed document, must the money still be kept in my account for 6 months or I can use it irrespective of whether its just a month old with me?

Thank you.

It took me and my spouse more than 6 months to get WES report. Our University use ONLY ETX-NG to request transcript as any other means aside ETX-NG will be refused by the school. We monitored online and it was delivered to WES in a week but the main problem started when WES sent back for confirmation. ETX said they did not see it, WES had to resend again after almost 3 months. Only then did they confirm it and we got the ECA report.

Please be on their case and don't relent. Keep emailing and calling nonstop.
Thanks....

I think u should study the tips much more than practicing, after learning the tips for each segment I.e matching, maps etc from various sources ieltsliz,e2language Jay etc, then go back and practice some more, this will definitely build ur confidence. Best of luck

Policy12, I am so trying not to give you a sarcastic response. Yes you will pay N68k. Your question made me laugh sotey!

Think of it this way...do I need to study to pass WAEC when I can just rewrite it for free? How would British Council pay the examiners, the invigilators and rent the hall if one re-writes for free?

Learning the tips and tricks used in answering the questions is almost more important than just practicing. There are quite a few of them and you will only get them by visiting sites that teach you how to answer these questions. Check sites such as ieltsliz, ieltsadvantage etc on useful tips in answering the questions and then of course practice! And take note of problem areas you notice, so that you can focus of conquering those ones.

Please, does one need to do an LOE to explain reason for changing NOC post-ITA?
Kontagious:
You can change your NOC post ITA. Some elders did. Just ensure your new NOC is in sync with duties in your reference letter(s).

{We recently got our PR cards in the mail. However, I applied under my maiden name as that is what is shown on my International Passport when I was applying under express entry.

Nevertheless, the passport recently expired, and I got a new passport under my husband's last name. There is a need to also change the name on my P.R. card. Anyone been in similar situation? Anyone with quality info on how to go about this? Thanks in advance.
}

I will potentially have to solve a similar issue too at the same stage of the process as regards wifey change of name stuff....kindly weigh in your opinions on how you feel this can be solved.

I intend to apply for a new international passport with the changed surname before submitting the CIC's PR application. What do you think?

It's surely ending in praise IJN!

Good day my good people,

So i decided to use ETX-NG in sending my transcript to WES from my institute, It has been one hell of an experience, 4 months and still counting "Oversabi is a really bad something" grin.

And then to my question, they have succeeded in sending my transcript with their snail pace. Are they also responsible for contacting my school to respond to WES' mail. just sent them a mail, i am not expecting any response till next week. Kindly respond if you have experience with them.

Thanks as always E-Fam.
WES will use their courier for the verification of your transcript. Do not fret. Everything will be fine with little patience. Cheers
