You are the dumb here dude. Religion is not dictating for me . I'm exercising my right to my own opinion, my right to wear what I want, my right to practice my religion without infringing on anybody's right. And so also are you exercising your right to insult me without making any point.
diadem10:

Yeye dey smell. What do I expect from a dumb head that let religion dictate for him?

Your right to wear whatever you want but not hijab to the bar. The event has a dress code! That's an order which you mustn't violate else we would expect the cele and traditional worshippers to put on theirs as well!

You are better off staying in your home. Majority of those who wears Hijab are wretched people btw. The Rich hardly wear Hijab, Buhari's daughters are examples!

As for Buhari's daughter this verse answers it :

"Whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul. And whoever errs only errs against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And never would We punish until We sent a messenger."

As for her stance on wearing her hijab this verse answers it:

"O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted"

So saudi arabia's princes , Buhari's daughter and their family are not those who represent Islam .They are just muslims.

why are you talking as if you are not educated. So you think that Muslims that allow Sunday to be work free Day so that our Christian brothers and sisters can go to their various churches and worships are fools? We are not fools but only respect their rights to worship. Why can't you respect our own religion? you are there making statement that can lead to hatreds amongst the followers of the two religious.

What exactly are you talking about?

Are you saying Allah segregate who worship him? Can't you worship Allah in your cultural attire? Can't you commune with him in your language? Does all these have to do with Arabic cultures and language?

What nonsense is this for crying out loud?

That aside, what justify the action of your muslim sister wearing Hijab to a bar event? It's like having a dress code for an event and someone choose to wear something else yet you have to nerve to query the decision of banning her from such event? Is she the only one with a religion? Some of your muslim brethren behaves like illiterates at time. Religion shouldn't reduce you to an illiterate.

Not true sir, we have good one's and bad one's.Please do not generalise it is those extremist and terrorists that makes it seem like people hate islam because of the atrocities they have committed ,hence the word islamophobia.

I understand that we have very bad Muslims, extremists, we should also remember we have very bad Christians too whose atrocities are even worse but, we Muslims don't condemn Christianity for this but to condemn the act and the actors.

Why is it that each time something related to Muslim(s) occur, Christians start throwing insults on our Religion.

I am a proud Muslim.

What are you even talking about? How many times have your brothers camped in "Tithes thread" to insult the christian pastors? Funny enough I know how it would pan out if it were Imams and Alfas that were being ridiculed. Some of your Muslim extremist would have gone on rampage like they did as in the case of Mohammed cartoon.

I'm waiting to see the day when Muslims as yourself would sit down and think of all these extreme actions of your muslim brothers and gauge them against the extreme acts of some christians fanatics to see which ones hurt your fellow human or disrupt the orderliness of Nigeria as a secular state!

yes christians have terrorists and bad people.Terrorists Christian organisations like the ku klux khan and the violence that occurred during the inquisition and the thirty years war were all committed by Christians.I don't think reasonable people would say it is Islam i think it is the one's on nairaland.Truth is we have extremist in every religion just like Roy Moore a Christian and members of the Ku klux khan.We should learn to respect people's religion and imbibe the spirit of tolerance.Keep on being a good Muslim and follow the teachings of Allah.

I laugh at ur ignorance.. Because
1. U are a full of bigotry
2. u aren't even enlightened
3. U are a hypocrite.

for ur information, I don't play religion. If you were smart enough to read, u would have noticed I didn't speak about who is right between those that believe covering their heads to pray or not.. It their business!

I dislike opionated people like U. US relocated embassy to Jerusalem, idiotic Muslims like U with no sense will be the first to protest..what's ur business with Palestine.. Don't u have personal problems in ur life and family! So-called Muslim a carrying out massive terrorist attacks around the world but bigots like u will keep shut! Ur concern is Hijab or Israel. Shame on U.

U and I know that u aren't even a real Muslim.. U womanize, drink alcohol, watch pornography, but will still claim to be a Muslim.. Pls clean ur house before u start pointing accusing fingers!

Lol. Wow!!!

You don't play religion yet you attacked me for writing facts. Yes those facts aren't okay by you hende the harsh response. To start with, every country on Earth besides czech republic rejects Trump's decision. The pope rejects it. The Coptic Christians rejects it. The Chinese that don't even believe in these imorted religions rejects it. But you will only talk about the Muslims. Yet you aren't playing religion cards

Secondly, you reached a conclusion that it's the kuslims that are carrying terrorist attacks in the world yet the most deadiest terrorist attack that ever happened was orchestrated two Christian guys and more have been carried out by more Christians but it's the Muslims that is your problem yet you aren't playing religion cards

Finally, I don't have any concern about hijab whatsoever. I simply quoted a member that switched his comment from the topic of discourse to attack the Muslims and Islam by forgetting to clean his own house first hence the reason i dropped that verse. You obviously saw it but never quoted him to correct him because it suits your narrative yet you arent playing religious cards.

The person that should be shameful of himself here is nobody but YOU

Did you know that it's mandated for Christian women to cover their hair? It's very compulsory and it's in the Bible

1 Corinthians 11:6

For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.

You criticise and attack Muslim women for covering their hair according to what their faith mandated for them but ignore it despite been written boldly in your own book

Isn't that hypocrisy and bigotry at it's peak??

Modified:: for those quoting me whichout using their brains. My comment was a response to a comment which is obvious to all. His comment doesn't correlate with this thread but he decided to display his bigotry but as usual he is exonerated because what he wrote suits their narrative

You omitted the verse(1cor 11:5) that sends the actual message which States that it's only at the time of worship or prophecies should a female cover her head. So this in no way justifies ur claim

So there must be a particular time to worship and prophesy? It can't be done on the road? It can't be done in the office? You must be prepared and ready for it before it can be done right?

A simple case or freedom of religion guaranteed in the constitution is so difficult for many people to grasp. Whatever has been happening in the past does not change the fact that this innocent girl is practising her religion.
The critical question is how does her mode of dressing affect the ceremony. I want clarification
Most people are religious bigots here...

That's out of context read the verse properly. It says "Head" not hair. Head and hair are two different things. Moreover, if you read properly you'll see that it says the hair is already a covering for the head.
