I am a DJ and just turned 19 years yesterday and have already acquired all the skills and have my DJ Set ready.

I told my parents about my career part and they're cool with it, obviously because I'm already in school (300L, IT).

They no want drop-out lol.

So, I went for my first Job hunting no avail.

A guy who have seen me play at a friend's birthday party linked me to a club owner and they're offering me 30k to play from 25th December to Early January. From 9pm to Club closes. A night club tho in a rural area, but will be in full session based on Christmas period.

Is it good as a starter (the price), if not when do I step up my game in terms of price?

I base in Imo.

Some will even play for free..The best thing here is ur exposure & spin all ur best music/tracks... DJs don't juz spin random shiit kind of music instead u draw the crowd and turn the dance floor into mayhem ...

It’s a good thing you have a career even before graduating

30k is change in this Nigeria but it’s a good start
you should consider how many hours you’ll be working through the 10 days and other little factors but above all it’s a good start

I practice a lot, say 3-6hours daily during holidays.

and like 2hours when I'm in school
