Im a sheeple and the lord is my shepherd I didn't take tithe seriously before, but thanks to freeze and his fans.

U make a very good point my broda, the house of God should nt lack anything, people should give to the house of God nt as tithes bt as offerings. Tithe is a bygone thing but one can/should give to churches as an offering.... I repeat nt as tithe...

In all fairness, I acknowledge the fears of pro-tithers even though it's not done as God instructed them to. I also consider the fact that there are some of them who sincerely give unto the promotion of God's work.

I want to make the following clear:

1) I am not against giving unto God's work. I am against preaching false doctrines on tithing and threatening people with a causeless curse for not paying up!

2) Give unto God and man with a cheerful heart and with the leading of the Holy Spirit.

3) Frankly speaking, the God I serve did not use money to create heaven and earth...and I find insulting when people think God's work will come to a grinding halt due to lack of money. God isn't limited to money i.e tithes and offerings included.

4) Jesus has given us a better model of sacrificial giving as outlined in Matthew 25 v 31-46, and it's not pegged at 10% of crops and livestock... rather it's more flexible and it demands way more than 10% of your money or time.

But I believe it is for the 'levites' and not the ordained priests.

The purpose for tithing have been abused no doubt, by the Shepherds. Albeit, tithing should not be preached against. We should rather start a campaign that will admonish the priests who misuse it, and persuade them to do the right thing.

The priest who receive it from the lay should make sure it goes to the 'levites', and not keep it to themselves.


Aaron(a priest) had no inheritance nor allowed to take tithe... But the Levites(his clan people) who are not ordained but help him in the tent are to receive the tithes
