Acts 1:14 His disciple John was the closest friend of Jesus. Joseph his foster father had died before Jesus was killed hence before his death he handed Mary his mother to his best friend.

Mary had other children after Jesus including females.

Mary had no biological child of hers even jesus was a mystery to mankind. She remained a virgin til death. Those you heard mentioned were jesus cousins but due to translation of the Bible and time this has been misunderstood.
Most of the Bible quotations were written in Idiom as at then this have led to lots of scholars rewriting the Bible over and over again to make people understand.
And not all that happened those day was covered in the Bible. You can take ur time to research the truth through other means don't wait for ur pastor to tell u what he believes. Jesus remains the only child of MARY. And Joseph never consummated that marriage. Therefore she remained a virgin all her life.

hahahaha, now you want scripture to mention the four, when scripture already mentioned them in an earlier verse, so each time scripture mentions them it should call the four right, You should tell that to Jude who was mentioned as one of them, but decided to say thus :Jude 1:1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James. Tell Jude to mention others too na. Note he called himself servant of Jesus, but brother of James. Same James whose brothers are also Simon and Joses, and whose mother is the wife of cleopas and not Joseph. MK.15:40, Jn19:25

Oga, no de lie na, I quoted your post o. Go and Check Mk.6:3 you quoted to see Joses there, abi you don't read your copy and paste?

My brethren in christ, all of the references sighted in the answers referred to those people as the Lord's brethren just like you are my brethren even without any blood relation. The only tool of confusion here is the English Language. Please dont be deceived, The blessed Virgin Mary is not a prostitute and Joseph isnt a womanizer. If a fellow agrees that his wife would conceive through the Holy spirit, will thesame fellow not be willing to let her remain a virgin forever. Lets not forget that Joseph had been willing to send Mary away secretly just to cover her from shame but for the dream revelation.

If you get to heaven, you will know that the issue of consumating marriage or not is not as important as we have taken it in our present day world. For further knowledge on this, you may read "The Lost Books of the Bible". But until then lets us keep watching and praying until the arrival of the bridegroom.
