Please shed more light on that.
Thanks
easyresource:
i started dropshipping not too long and some of the challenges i have and some i had submounted would be stated below, but first. As a dropshipper (i hope there is a word like that), u get products (not buy o) but fill your shopify store with products from merchants on aliexpress (or other ecommerce sites) using a tool called oberlo.

With oberlo i only select products that offer free shipping with higher orders and sellers with higher ranking (this is within my niche ofcourse). So I then change some settings on both my oberlo app and shopify store(watch youtube video online for more help on this).
This allows my buyers to pay for products on my store (prices are in USD ofcourse, NB. buyers address will be listed during placing of order) and then i contact the seller, pay for the good and provide the address of the client for shipping (i also give the merchant some instructions so that the client doesnt know am dropshipping it-coded things).

Some of the key point for MY business model are;
- i target/market or sell to people in the US (free shipping is quicker and much easier)
- i choose product with free shipping, higher seller rank and high order rate
- i change my shipping address to a US address

(those are some i can think of for now)

My challenges are, although u can pay for shopify plan using a Nigerian debit card, but for your site payment processor u cant use most of the payment gateway listed on shopify unless paypal and that leads to my second challenge,

its common knowledge (i hope it is) that with paypal, u can use it to make payment once u fund it, but u cant receive payment with it (to d best of my knowledge ni o, i know some people are waited to pounce, i cant fight o) but i opened a business account with my paypal and i was able to use it as my payment processor. reason why u need this is that since i am targeting US market only, my payment processor must be able to process USD denomination cards.(not even paystack would help)

The other issue is that with paypal as my payment processor, i can receive, but to collect my money now is wahala. But dont fret, am testing an hypothesis, if u have a dollar card, like the one gtbank issues, u can link it to ur paypal business account and when fund get to ur paypal u can add it to ur wallet (card) and use the atm to withdraw. shikena.

I hope this help, and for all u who know more than me, pls teach me with suru, no insults - insinuated or directly implied will not be tolerated angry. Thank you

You did spoke right bro -- But there are few tips I would love to add, You can always send the Paypal out to other NG folks needing. Also, PAYPAL bans like craze.. What Paypal country are you using ?

I always go with JV, as verification/limitation could always be problemwhen needed.

You could always create a stealth paypal account but best option is you working with Valid details. Paypal doesn't really support DROP SHIPPING and there is always high chances of getting your account limited.

Bro, you are on a long thing. PayPal stop supporting Payoneer long time ago.
That's why it is rejecting your Payoneer card.
It will never go through.

What we are using now on PayPal is virtual credit card (VCC )

No, I used payoneer of recent like 2/3 weeks ago for account verification ...So it's definitely still working. The problem majority are facing is the withdrawal aspect of it. Paypal doesn't allow payoneer withdrawal but you can always send out to folks that would buy and send naira to your account in exchange.

I am already into importing and will be blending my import business with drop shipping in 2018. I will be targeting the Nigerian and West African market but in a slightly different drop shipping format. I already have my agents in China who would help me with payments and logistics.

Merry Christmas guys and Happy New Year in advance

Few tips and am off:

Want to Use PayPal as payment processor option?

Do a JV with someone in US, CA, UAE or UK. I know trust is an issue when doing so, what if he/she walks? Know who you do JVs with, do the due deligence needed, simple.

Only sell/dropship products of high quality, be sure to test or verify your wholesaler, to avoid return and tamper product issues; find out how you can do so, aint talking about it...

Sell/dropship only products from wholesalers with epacket options only, this ensures tracking numbers are provided, key it in your paypal transaction statement, mark it that order has been processed and shipped, paypal will release your money in 5 days or less. If you can find USA/CA wholesalers in AE, 1688, Tabao etc, it reduces time for it to arrive to your buyer at most 4 days.

Why not collect emails during checkout? Easy guys, mail your buyer the tracking number and sweet talk him/her to tell paypal that order has been shipped...chicken suya....listen ooo, dont make ur checkout form/page lenthy, it bores them...be like, mehn why should I feel all these, damn am tired, am off this site...bamm customer lost.

Ahhh least I forget..your paypal name and email should be the same with your domain and business name...like: sales @ nigeriarecession. ng and Name: Nigerian Recession T-Shirts Store. Nobody wants to buy from someone with incoherent issh. Maybe this may look basic but is a feasible mistake

Ok nah am through with PP man.

Skrill, PayGate, Stripe, 2CheckOut, Oberlo, Alidropship, WooCommerce, Wordpress and Shopify

The fact is this, shopify is expensive, beginner friendly and cheap too, yea very funny... onyem awoof na asa afo. After your trial ends, assuming you are using trial and luckily for you, you made little to no sales..OMG, $27 X how many months with little to no sales yet? My friend you are fried. Lets see, which free theme in shopify is worthy or attractive? And everyone dick and harry will be using the same theme with you and who knows if they are not in the same niche with you...lol.. I leave you to answer that. Premium themes are from $120 to $175, when you havent made shhshh not even sure if you will, even at that majority of the said premium themes are not great. Apps in shopify are freemium even the almighty oberlo that is making everybody jump into shopify. Okay nulled shopify themes? I laugh...in the background, the site is not yours..monkey dey work baboon dey chop...

For a brand in shopify, you need to stand out, ideate, build, spend and market, thats shopify. Using freemium apps, ragged themes, subdomain issh and no custom email? Shopify is now everywhere, you should be, you must be differentiated from the children, this is business, com'on you must be different.

What if you spend N1,046 - N5,000 for domain name, N18,000-N25,000 for quality ecommerce hosting, not nigerian hosting providers, N17,000 for alidropship plugin and N22,000 for quality ecommerce theme from themeforest or its likes, that's like N62,000+ (no ads fee added) for 1 year of your business totally yours and customized, no restrictions? Remember woocommerce themes comes with premium plugins for life and is always updated automatically as independent developers does there own bug fixes etc plus skrill, stripe and 2checkout standalone plugin attachable to woocommerce. Thats wordpress and woocommerce advantage.

Lets see shopify: $27x10months (leaving off 60 days trial for those who used it) = $270. Crappy theme or $120-165 theme, oberlo freemium plus other apps not less than $10-$20 per month = $100 and a domain of N5,000 or use crappy subdomain. Thats roughly $490 x 380 bank rate = N191,200. No ads fee added.

Some will say, I wont run the busines for a year or too long, why then did you start? Even some will not even make a dime whether they spend or not cos they dont know what is to be done and the right way to do it.

I'm not after your secret.
I'm not even interested.
I only advised @Anuda on how to get the Alidropship plugin at a discount price.
Is using a coupon code to reduce the price of a product not a secret?
Must it be your own secret?

Btw, you are definitely making a big mistake that will cost money. You are doing well, but you need more enlightenment.
Alidropship plugin is not available at $40

Nobody knows it all Gee and certainly don’t need enlightenment from you.

The alidropship am using is $40 and 3000+ bought it and are using it too, I have not had any issues with the plugin, it works well for me and 3000+ customers of the plugin owner.

I should buy $89 own with your 15% discount, right and is the right one? Does 15% discount of $89 amount to N17,000? It amounts to 26k plus. Next time make valid claims and don’t take on me tending it to be my secret.

It appears that this plugin is not the same as Alidropship plugin as it comes with subscriptions even after paying $40.
Alidropship plugin comes with one time payment!

Pls clarify...

It is difficult and impossible to learn when a person claims to know.
Since you claim not to need enlightenment from me, I would've hold my peace if you were the only one on this great forum.
But for the sake of newbies and people that are interested in this topic, I will now troy more light on this dropship plugins and put the record straight.

To start with; there are different plugins for dropshiping that does almost the same work. Where their major differences lies is in their pricing option. Some have a one time payment where the plugin is paid for once.
Others use a subscription model where the plugin is paid for every month.

Now, you are talking about Alidropship plugin, and saying that people can get it for $40 or N17,000.
Someone (@Anuda) then asked you specifically how you get Alidropship plugin for N17,000?
This was where I got in and try given @Anuda a tip on how to reduce the $89 price of Alidropship plugin.
I didn't even mention your name or say anything contrary.

But then you jumped onboard, and give the link where they can actually buy the Alidropship plugin for $40.
I then try to inform you that Alidropship plugin is not available for $40.

Then you went ahead to screenshot and prove how over 3000+ people have bought the plugin and all that.
Did I say your plugin is not working, or it is bad?

I'm telling you that you're making a mistake which ultimately result in given out wrong info for public consumption, and you are here claiming something expert instead of you to humble yourself and learn?

Now, to put the record straight, here is the real situation.

You are talking about two different plugins from different companies and given them the same price at the same time.
This is a big mistake, and is bad for public consumption.

You are talking about Alidropship plugin which is entirely different from what you provided here.

The plugin you provided here is not Alidropship plugin.
Rather, it is Ali2Woo plugin. Yes, Ali2Woo is the name of the plugin you provided here which cost $40.

Ali2Woo is not the same as Alidropship.
With Ali2Woo which cost $40, you can only import 200 product from Aliexpress to a store. Once you exceed the 200 limit. You must upgrade with a monthly subscription plan to import additional products to your store.

This is not the case with Alidropship.
With Alidropship, one can import unlimited product from Aliexpress to a store without having to pay any extra fees or monthly subscriptions

You think I'm making invalid claim?
Let's find out

Here are the available subscription plans for Ali2Woo plugin

The plans:
Free – 200 products max – 0$
Basic – 10 000 prod. max – 25$ / month
Advanced – 30 000 prod. max – 75$ / month

These plans comes after the purchase of $40.
At $25/month, it will amount to $300 in a year,
And $900/yr at $75.

With Alidropship plugin, such is not the case.
One only pay the $89 once and forever.

Hmmmmm...200 products or not, thats what am using and thats what many are using. Want to import unlimted products, be my quest. Someone who cant make a sale from 200 products, then is unlimited products that will make a sale from and you go ahead to buy alidropship, what use is that. Ali2Woo, does it import from aliexpress to your site, or not and you sell off, what is that called, alinairaland? This whole drag with you is that 15% off $89 can never give N17,000, that false claim you made, was the misleading issue that caused this, lets say someone comes up to and ask for alidropship at N17,000, will 15% off $89 solve it? Why put it up as that?

I said what i use and how much it was for, imports from aliexpress to my store and I sell off, thats alidropship, you then turn up to say is $89 and i said is not and that 15% off $89 cannot be N17,000, whats there? So, if I dont use $89 own is not alidropship am doing or is not the plugin? Lemme even ask you, how many dropshippers and case studies have you seen that there products exceeded 200? Rarely. You think by bringing in the plugin that stocks up unlimited products in your store, it increases the chances of making more sales? Maybe if i dont use it to have stocks in my store, then is the big mistake I will be making?

Is simple, use your $89 alidropship plugin, while I use my limited 200 products ali2woo plugin...easy as that

It is either you don't want to admit your mistake and make corrections, or you just want to fool yourself here.
You actually claimed to have bought Alidropship plugin for N17,000.
Then someone asked you how you manage to buy the Alidropship plugin for N17,000?
Then you came up with a link where the person (@anuda) can buy Alidropship plugin for N17,000 or $40.
What do you call that? Is that not misleading?
Is Ali2Woo plugin the as Alidropship plugin and at the same price?
Why are you misleading them the people and given out wrong information?

I'm trying to put the record straight, but you keep dragging it.
Are you deliberately deceiving these people or what?

Anyway, I'm done with it. You can continue.
But do remember that some of us are here

What do you call that? Is that not misleading?
Is Ali2Woo plugin the as Alidropship plugin and at the same price?
Why are you misleading them the people and given out wrong information?

I'm trying to put the record straight, but you keep dragging it.
Are you deliberately deceiving these people or what?

Anyway, I'm done with it. You can continue.
But do remember that some of us are here

You seem quite broad in this field. I'm a novice in this field, Can I get your contact and call you?

I am already into importing and will be blending my import business with drop shipping in 2018. I will be targeting the Nigerian and West African market but in a slightly different drop shipping format. I already have my agents in China who would help me with payments and logistics.
Pls how do I go about getting an agent in china

We provide solution for VCC. Contact me via the mediums in my reply above.

Basically, there are two types of VCC.
There is a type that can be customize to have any name and address including USA and is accepted on any website including PayPal Amazon, facebook, Bing etc. This type of VCC is superior and a bit expensive.
Comes with $5 balance. No monthly maintenance fees.

This type of VCC cost N10k

The other type is less expensive and limited. Can't be customise to have USA billing address, not acceptable on some top USA websites especially the ones mentioned above. Comes with $0.00 balance and $1 monthly maintenance fee.

This type of VCC cost N3k

So, when purchasing a VCC, even if you didn't get it through us, make sure you inquire to know the kind of VCC you are going to buy.
Do you still render this service?
