kennysville:I agree that we have average players o....very average in fact, but when we assemble those average players into a team, they make an exceptional team. We no get any FIFA-Recognised player, we no get player wey dey tear up any league with goals, we no even get the one wey at least dey try for one reasonable team, no problem, but we like them like that. Those are the ones that gave us World Cup ticket and bragging rights as the first African nation to qualify, meanwhile countries like Ivory Coast and Algeria that have top players like Aurier, Zaha, Bailly, Mahrez and Feghouli playing in top leagues and for top teams where dem dey? |

Mickael2:"He's (Pellegrini) been my footballing father and I know that he likes me and, for me, of course I would like to continue with him because he's given me all the confidence in the world,"... Isco. As I said, this is not a debate. Finito.

goldfish80:Saying something nobody wants to say, we are not carrying any outstanding goal threat to the WC. The Golden boy that can do no wrong KC is now struggling to make the bench. It's also becoming apparent to those who want to be realistic he is far off from being world class. Without Ighalo we are in big trouble, hence my desire for a tried and tested Obagoal. |

realpoacher:So, this epistle was for Iheanacho and not for the progress of the team. I see. Free kick is now the yardstick for measuring a player. I see. |

komekn:so, it is only Obagoal that will score all our goals in Russia abi? This una argument just mumu...even the Ighalo, no be only one goal e score? He doesn't even have an assist, just one goal, even Mikel has more goals than him. I was thinking you will even say we should drop all our forwards and find new ones from England, I would have taken you and goldfish80's complaints seriously ![]() |

TheGoodJoe:your argument sef tire me. How do you know a player is being groomed? Is it not by monitoring positive changes in his style of play? What do you expect Isco to say? That was his coach who made him a regular for his team |

TheGoodJoe:no, it was Ighalo that scored the goal against Zambia that gave us World Cup ticket, have you forgotten? Martins even scored a brace against Cameroon How could we have qualified for the World Cup without Martins whose shoes none of the forwards in our current team can lace? |

forgiveness:my brother eh, I read that comment and I was like 'wow' so people like this still dey? One freekick in a friendly game, one freaking Fkick in a friendly game is now the yardstick, so because Kanu never scored a freekick he isn't a good player any more? Poor Yekini I guess |

TheGoodJoe:I am pretty sure Madrid didnt break the bank for Isco. Isco as at then was a Ceballos-type of signing, he was signed for his future world class abilities, he was in no way a superstar when Madrid signed him |

AIG07:Before Torres was sold to Chelsea by Liverpool he was already off the boil. He then went to Chelsea and was considering his hefty transfer fee a complete and total flop. He then went on to the WC 2010 and was a even great flop. So we should then pick a player who has lost form to be a flop for the SE in the WC Russia Do you know how many players Germany has tried and continous to try before settling on thier final 23 In my opinion our pool of considered and tested players us way too small. |

Mickael2:Perez (Real Madrid President) declared the 21-year-old was signed because he fits in with new coach Carlo Ancelotti's plan to "offer the best football possible". He said: "We always look to bring the best players in the world to this club. "Therefore we are glad to present Isco as our player. We have signed a player who at just 21 years of age has already amassed a loyal following of fans due to his high quality. He's still a young player but he has shown he is prepared to compete at this level. "He was named the Golden Boy in 2012, and has played for the Spain first team. He showed us what he was made of at the Under-21 European Championships, which he and his team-mates won for Spain, and he was a key player in Malaga's historic Champions League campaign last season." The Golden Boy award is for the best young player in Europe. It was established by Italian newspaper Tuttosport and is voted on by sport journalists. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11835/8803642/real-madrid-president-florentino-perez-praises-new-signing-isco Ceballos-type player after Isco was a star player in the Champions League. I was the first person to blow alarm three seasons ago that Solanke is a far better player than Kelechi but people don't know why I said so. I studied both players and I discovered Kelechi relied on tap in to score goals while Solanke will take on 2 or 3 players before he scores. This study took me days, weeks and some months to make my conclusion. Now, today Solanke is on the ascendary while Iheanacho is going down. Why? Because Manchester City didn't believe Iheanacho talent lays behind a striker hence the need to convert him to a striker. That was the biggest mistake of his life though not his fault. Rohr self could see for himself Iheanacho is not a striker hence the need to play him on the RW and later as false 9. People shouting upandon about him here are of no good to his career. They are his biggest enemies. If his club wants him to stay, he had better stay than roam around clubs he is not sure of getting a start but if they want to sell him, France is better because he no go smell bench for German. I don't like the league for Nigerian young players. |

forgiveness:See people that know more than Pellegrini. I honestly wish Solanke the best. Not ready to pitch tent against any. Proud of Iheanacho so far. He has achieved a lot so far and I hope he stays injury free and has a nice World Cup. That is more important than comparing him with Solanke. |

goldfish80:In the January window managers are looking for in form strikers who will bring what they are looking for goals. I stand to be corrected but I can not see many EPL teams signing KC or Musa to lead thier attack. Considering thier current form. Thier best chance of a loan move will be the Championship or another European league. |
