komekn:Pellegrini is a master of the game. His insight and time of getting it right puts his knowledge ahead of many who have never attempted to do it once. We are talking of a man doing it for a long time with an array of stars in his catalogue. Yet someone wants to school him. I laugh in Indonesia. |

goldfish80:Who decides if Pellegrini made a wrong call, you? You guys make it look as if Kelechi Iheanacho never played pro football, let alone become one of the stars and key players of the Super Eagles. |

I don't like engaging in this Iheanacho debate because there are some who will say he did the right thing even if he scores an own-goal. And there are some will pay a blind eye when he does something spectacular. |

"Thank you to Manchester City for helping me reach where I am today, I will remain grateful all my life," "I will use this opportunity to thank my teammates (former Manchester City teammates) and the manager as well Manuel Pellegrini (former manager) for getting me into the first team and also giving me the chance to play. I will also remain grateful to him." "And the current manager Pep Guardiola, a massive thank you to you for helping me grow and learn so much. I will remain grateful to you because you are a top coach and I'm happy working with you. Thank you to you Pep and to your coaching staff."... Kelechi Iheanacho This is dedicated to them that know more than Pellegrini. |

"And the current manager Pep Guardiola, a massive thank you to you for helping me grow and learn so much. I will remain grateful to you because you are a top coach and I'm happy working with you."... Kelechi Iheanacho As long as Kelechi Iheanacho keeps working hard, the knowledge he learnt from Guardiola will help mold him into a top quality player. Glad to hear the young man is still working hard. |

TheGoodJoe:The court of public opinion is a very powerful one. Kelechi is not playing in a mushroom where nobody observes him. People actually pay money in form of season tickets and cable tv subscriptions to watch him play. Kelechi didn't invent football , he will be judged like other footballers |

Why won't some people agree the fact that kc has lost it this season?? Why always blaming manager for the dude downfall when it is crystal clear he has played more than 12 league games with no goal not assist to his name.. He may be going through his own tough patch ,he may improve as time goes on.. But why cant some people agree to the fact that as it stands now,as at this time , the dude is retrogressing instead of improving ![]() |

goldfish80:You mean the same court that declared Mikel Obi guilty on all charges. I will listen to masters like Pellegrini and Hiddink before listening to their crap judgment. |

kennysville:Hahahaha, all these you have written still hasn't changed the fact that all our players presently in Europe are AVERAGE, including the ones yet to play for us. However, being average isn't same as being an underachiever. An average team can whop a team full of World class players. As for me, I prefer a team of average players forming a cohesive unit than world class players who are more interested in showcasing their individual talents. |

krattoss:Same way people argued that Gray was retrogressing when he was warming bench. When Unsworth gave him chance and he started playing well, they changed story. Being left on the bench is not retrogressing. We are talking of a player who not long ago had a good game against Argentina. Tevez benching at West Ham United did not mean he was retrogressing. When he got his run, he lit the league up like a New year night in New York. Heck when Victor Moses got his run, respected pundits sang his name like a hit record. Please, bench is not retrogressing. |

Which kind yans be this? If the coach knew, then why did he pull him off? The pressure Naija was putting on them was increasing by the minute. They had to alter their formation to take out an attacker. At that time Bebeto was more rated than Ronaldo and they still had Bebeto on the pitch. So why we no chop 7. I could also say if we had Oliseh them for score only 1. forgiveness: |

Dedebanky85:as at 1996 Ronaldo was rated higher than Bebeto, this was a guy that scored 35 goals in 1995, the highest scoring teenager until Mbappe took over this year. I am not saying we would have collected 7 o, we definetly wouldnt have but Ronaldo as at then was better than Bebeto na |

forgiveness:I'm a Liverpool fan and I've watch solanke enough to know how good he is... And I won't deny that he is presently a better player than Iheanacho albeit having scored zero goals for Liverpool so far.. But what concern us with him? I don't get this ur chronic obsession with the foreign born players oo.. That was how u kept ranting about Tiago Ilori the other day?? Abeg, the only thing that makes these guys feel Nigerian is their parents.. All of them have their eyes on the three lions,we shouldn't bother about them at all until they put on the GWG... If u are really passionate about the national team like u claim, u won't stop so low to be comparing somebody like Iheanacho that has scored 8 gaols in 14 games for d super eagles with Solanke that's still riding on his U-20 world cup glory.... |

if FIFA should propose a rule that every footballer should play only for his country of birth,I will support it 100%.. That will make the NFF sit their ass up and put more effort in developing our league right from the grassroot.. And all these rubbish of trying to rob the over hyped British born players on our face will stop |
