I have gone to the embassy thrice and got denied because of this visa mills issues - an agent chose Iglobal university for me for MBA. I now want to do the processing my self because the agent is not intelligent than me and the nairaland Experience center. My issues is how can I rescind the previous admission , I want a change of program from MBA to Msc accounting - I did bus admin and I'm running my ICAN.
I have checked a number of schools and I have seen some good ones but they require application fees.

NEC I need you to dissect this issue and give needed advice to enhance my visa chances. I have been read forum for the past weeks I have not seen anyone's whose predicament is similar to mine.

All these agents no go kill person with laughter. They can get the gullible ones admission to Trump University sef. Well, just apply to the new schools and pay their application fees. That joke admission doesn't disturb the new admission you're applying for. It's what you take to the embassy the embassy will use for your interview. They might ask why you change school and the reason is clear.

I just got this on ustraveldocs.com:
Students or exchange visitors
Purpose of travel is to begin or resume a valid program of study in the United States within 60 days when no regular visa appointments are available. This option is limited only to students and exchange students who are within 60 days of their start date. It is also limited only to applicants who have not been refused a visa within the last six months at either the U.S. Embassy in Abuja or the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos.
I was refused a visa 20th Dec, that's within the last 6 months like stated above. What shall I do, please?

Book for emergency appointment

It's actually not difficult. You will see an available date before you can schedule. But if you have an already scheduled appointment you wouldn't have access to available dates. Send me a PM I'll guide you.

Thanks bro... I have sent you a pm, expecting your reply

Application fee is a good thing ..... if you are serious about been a student then you can't run away from it. How will they run the school if things are free

Thank you Twood preparing to retake GRE [qquote author=TWoods post=63810546]

Criminology is a generic course that anyone can take. Secondly, your GRE scores aren't really stellar so why would a school bother with the added stress of getting an international student when there are many home students willing to take your place? When applying to competitive programs, you need to stand out.[/quote]

I wouldn’t advise u to fly airmaroc coz of people’s nasty experiences wit dem. The 11 hour lay over should come wit an hotel accomodation tho. U. An call them to confirm. Y not try turkish air, it’s also cheap but better than air Maroc. Or u can try Ethiopian airlines, u will get tickets as cheap as 214k. But it’s longer tho.

You have taken a bold step by acknowledging your potentials. You can do better than the so called scammers who call themselves Agent.
I was having a discussion with one the other time, and he didn't even know what is called SIVES. It is important to work on your past denials......don't rush things okay

I'm sure if you're granted a work permit (H1B) in U.S even after saying to the VO you're coming back to Nigeria to work, you would be very glad to take the offer. So why should I worry myself with who's allowed to practice and who's not in Nigeria?

@ the newbies,

Bomb cyclone is hitting NY and the north east as we speak. If you're planning coming to U.S through JFK or Liberty or any airports on the northeast today or tomorrow, your flight might be delayed. For those newbies here already, this is not the kind of snow you want to go out to take your first snow pictures to send to Nigeria. Within a few minutes of exposure, you will suffer a serious hypothermia (deadly), frostbite (leading to amputations), pneumonia (deadly), flu or even trauma due to fall.

It's frigid cold outside. Stay warm inside.

I am not God but most likely you will get the same result when you apply again. Going for an associate degree after a Bsc in Nigeria is hard to prove to a VO that you are a genuine student. If I may ask, What will this associate degree do for you? If you don't know, community college is just like our own Polytechnic. Does going to a polytechnic after a 4 year University degree make sense to you? My advice to you is to apply to a proper university. By the way lets assume you got the VISA , whats the job scenario like for a human service specialist? Sometimes you have to think about long term gains than short term gains
