Ayam not understanding you sir. You replied someone up there that of its a student's visa and they didnt retain the person's passport, it's a rejection.

And here you're saying this person has nothing to worry about. That he will be asked to come with his passport.

Your response to adetunjionafuwa and arigold007 are contradictory.

Which one is it.

You misquoted the whole thing. I know numerous numbers of people that their passport was collected after interview and it wasn't on basis of rejection but In this case where the passport is being collected, it could be that the students enrollment deadline has passed or is by the corner and they have to hasten things up for the persons visa to come out fast. U need not be scared that ur passport was collected although mine wasn't collected but they requested for it when my visa was out.

It's a normal routine

Hope this helps

I didn't misquote anything. Try and read honorableseyi's responses to people's concerns(to arigold007 and adetunjionafuwa's concerns) on page 187 to understand where I'm coming from. I'm just trying to highlight that he should set the record straight, that's all.

And I'm saying which one is the normal Routine: to retain visa or not to.

Good evening everyone,

I have got few questions please and is as follows:

1. Am married and can't go without my husband and child, please what would you advice ?.

2. How much do we have to put into DB account that is sufficient for a family like mine, which the embassy would be okay with?

3. My husband wants to write a B1 German exam, would that be OK because I read we have to state from beginning that the spouse wants to work?

4. Read also, spouse has to specify the sort of work being sort after?.

5. He read mechanical engineering but has 8years experience in oil and gas then he is now a technical sales manager in same field but wants to do a professional exam in project management. Is this a good move?.

Please your options would be most appreciated.

@ayomeah i need response to this question pls.

You can't. All schools that require you to apply through uniassist mandates that all documents be passed to them through uniassist. If your deadline has not yet passed, you can send 5he documents to uniassist.

If the recommendation letters are not mandatory for your school's application (like you just added your own jara), then you can bone.

If these two conditions doesn't apply to you, then i think you might have to forfeit the admission.

But you can send a message to uniassist and the school and ask for their opinion on it. You might be lucky.

Pls haus I jus received a call from FedEx where I addressed my courier letter saying I should come and pickup my documents from the embassy. But after my interview I was informed that they will send me a mail to inform me on what to do next. Pls does this mean a rejection or is it normal that they don't send a mail

If this what @ayomeah was talking about. I'm sorry to say it's rejection but you can always appeal. That's normal but just be courageous to do fast to appeal.

Success stories awaits you

No 1 is not possible. Your husband can only join you when you are already a resident in Germany, also by that time you should have the funds that can take care of him and your child

See the responses I'm talking about.
Now forget how the inquirers put their concerns, focus on the replies.

The point is they didn't retain both their passports and the reply to each person was different.

Which one do we take?

If only you have read the previous threads you would have understood what he his saying.
What he his saying is that if his passport wasn't retained and he was told to come collect his documents that means rejection because the normal routine is that your passport will be given back to you and it will be asked after your Visa has been approved that you send your passport and insurance with intended date of travel. In some very special cases passports are retained and the only thing they will then ask of you is your insurance and travel date(This is very rare).
Hope you understand now? And try and endeavor to read the previous threads. Peace

If it is a student visa, you have nothing to worry about. That is the way it is. You will be asked to come with your passport and insurance when your visa is ready. Shalom

That's great but I advise you apply to both degrees. I made this opinion to explore your options and also the fact that u might Hv hustle in mind. Although, if u get a PhD place, you would be paid some money if I'm right.

Best wishes

Hello Nairalanders! EPP a brother!

Was given admission for masters in Mining management at the TU Freiberg, Berkagamie since November and I just got a soft copy of my Sponsorship letter sent to me yesterday. Buh there was a typo error in my name on the SL. Every other thing is good. What do I do? How do I go about booking an interview? I'm hearing guys talk about mailing them, do I need to that? Or I just find any available date n book? How dangerous is the typo error?
what are the error on the letter if the name on the letter i different from your name you need to get back to your sponsor so it will be corrected
