Like someone explained, this happened in the Caribbean, not Nigeria. But from the comments here, people actually believe that someone can tie up another's destiny spiritually. Not possible. With all our supposed education, we are still deeply superstitious. This would make it difficult for us to progress as a society.
If it were possible, knowing how mean and envious our people can be, there would be no successful Nigerian.

if it were u and u didn't loose dat tin den u are coward ...in the name of fear..i have seen worse even..there was a day I saw a fine small box of about 8x5 inches brought home by my younger broda of 7..he saw it in a dumpster near his school ..i opened the box only to see a wooden doll pierced with multiple pins with a pic attached and tied together with red pieces..with native chalk and some other fetish tins..immediately i saw it..the box fell out of my hands..but I grabbed it..loose the red pieces and remove the niddles and pin pierced to the wooden doll..tear the pics and dismantle ..everytin..den burned dem..i believe God used me to answer that person's prayer to be released from bondage..if it were u don't ever cower wen u see bondage voodoos and charm..step up and free that person..it might be an answer to some1s prayer

My sister it doesn't mean. Water is globally connected like a network. You could dump something in river niger today and it is beached at the shores of pacific ocean many years later. So until the young man is identified, ppl can only speculate or tribalise the issue

Such things only work on ppl who believe. People don't understand the power of our belief system. Whatever you believe and accept as truth or reality, will manifest. I always ask ppl this question "have you ever lifted an empty gallon thinking it was filled"?, what was your experience? Do you notice how you lifted the gallon with so much force that it almost hit your head just because you thought and believed that the gallon was filled. here's the catch, now you know its not filled, try lifting it with the same force as u did when you thought the gallon was filled and you'll notice that it's impossible to replicate that same experience.
That is exactly how the belief system works on us.
