hello Ma'm, in my own opinion, complete your hormonal blood work first, before going for HSG.

Most times HSG is recommended after the blood work is fine and indicative of nothing. Let the P4 test be done to confirm you Ovu regularly, if it say you don't Ov your dr may want to address that first before requesting for HSG. if everything is fine, then bring it up with your dr again.

I experience the soreness in my boobs before AF. My comes and goes since my body is still confused after the surgery

My Dr is of the opinion dt I shouldn't go for the Hsg since its invasive and no reason has been identified for me to undergo it. Should I still insist on the test or not. Please help me shook mouth for the matter o. Thanks.

you aren't done with your hormonal profile yet. I'd suggest you conclude with that. Give your results to your doc and he'd tell you to go for hsg if he deems it fit. We're you ever told that your tubes were blocked? Calm down mami. One step at a time.

The sore breast thingy is kind of common. I experience it too although the degree of mildness might vary from woman to woman. Last time I experienced this someone told me to apply castor oil, I felt a soothing relief, not until my village people entered hubby to come and disturb me( I can't vividly remember what happened but I know I went all shades of crazy and ended up sleeping elsewhere). I think it's normal.... Try castor oil.

Sore breasts before AF is usually as a result of low progesterone. Taking Vitamin B6 50mg after ovulation till before period helps with the issue and usually stops the breast pain. I learned it here and that's what I did for mine.

But do check with your doctor before taking any supplement.

Me I'm a fan of hsg o. Many strokes for different doctors as some doctors believe so much in it because it clears the tubes in case of any debris in the fallopian tubes.

The gyns I've used like to do all those tests together because some people get pregnant after HSG even before they are administered ovulation meds. For those ones it's all the treatment they need.

What i use to do is to add lemon inside warm water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach n drink.
I read it here on fvine post that lemon is ttc friendly.

I dont think folic acid caused breast soreness, as a matter of fact, one cycle i took only folic. i didnt get the breast soreness at all. 400mcg is usually suggested for daily use.

But on a happier note, I picked up continuing my ICAN Exams to keep my mind off TTC, results came out yesterday and I am now a qualified Chartered Accountant.

I use the fresh lemon, I cut it into two and I use half a day.

I am new on this thread but i want to encourage someone today with words from my daily devotional rhapsody of reality.

Even as we are TTC our confidence in the word of God must be unshakable. It may be difficult but continue to act your faith in the word and you will always win. In Philippians 4:6 the bible says 'Be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let you request be made known unto God'

The prayer section further says "Now more than ever, i am assured of victory, success and the glory life because your word says so. My life is a daily manifestation of the supernatural, because you have made me an overcomer; winning is my life style in Jesus name'

I have been TTC for 17months now, it hasn't been easy but this words have encouraged me and i thought to share so that it may encourage someone.
