Attach all letters you received from CIC for visa denials and write an LOE explaining the reason for denial also fill Schedule A upfront. I was denied Canadian study visa twice after which i appealed and won and was issued subsequently, i attached the two denial letters and the approval letter and also the visa affixed to my passport, i also filled a schedule A upfront and wrote an LOE explaining how it all went down.

[/Please what is the need for completing the schedule a form again, since all the information in the form "eimm5669e" had already been captured in the online application form ?

Kindly enlighten me more on this.

Hello People,

Please who has had experience with any other IELTS test organizers aside British Council, i need your candid opinion cause i am seriously considering jumping ship at this point.
I've experienced both British council and IDP/Mod, I'll strongly recommend IDP/MOD for these reasons.
1. The registration is straightforward. On Two different occasions, payment was made to BC and they never acknowledged it, they won't pick your calls and they won't respond to their mail, I've had no choice than to go to their office.
2. They respond to all enquiries as soon as possible.
3. The speaking test is flexible, I was given 3 different dates and time to choose from which I did and it was honoured(this might not apply in all cases)
4. Less population
5. IDP/MOD is more organised during examination, candidates were provided with writing materials, you can't come in with your writing materials and they get to sharpen your pencils for you during examination... As many times as you want it and they provided bottled water if you request for one
6. But no headphones for listening test in IDP/MOD centers, a speaker was used but it was audible and okay for me but some people complained and actually preferred a headphone which BC provides.
My first attempt was with BC, the whole thing stressed me out, we spent more than 1 hour in the hall trying to fix the audio and to make sure everybody's headphones worked properly before the exam, but the more they tried, the more people complained, we had to do the reading test first for them to fix the Audio, My result LSWR/ 6.5 ,7,7,7. It was so annoying.
This is just my opinion.

Thanks for the response. It shall end in praise!!!

Thinking I should do same as it is not contributing towards CRS score but I don't know how safe that will be...or should we just do a notarized letter in CIC format along with the Letter of Introduction (containing just her name, Job Grade - not Job Title, annual Salary - benefits excluded, and HR contact) since she's not the PA.

Please what will you suggest?

Sorry for the late response. Well I can’t really advice on this matter as I am yet to get PPR, let other seniors advice on the matter

Guys please don't be angry for the long post but this are trying times for me as well as "matters of the heart" concerning me and IELTS and they said "a problem shared is a problem solved"

I keep getting 7.5 on listening and 6.5 on reading even though I read/practice/prepare as if I'm going for MBBS exam. My practice score for both listening and reading are most often within the range of 38- 40 but "I still dey gbagaun for the actual test " dunno y cry

Here is list of things I think might I be doing wrong when it comes it to the listening section:
i. I write all my ans in caps.
ii. I go back to correct the tenses and more often change from singular to plural and vice versa as the sentence required.
iii. In the last test I took; the question required you answers be written in two words and a number; the speaker called out a date of birth as "22nd the 7th 1985" and I wrote "twenty-second July 1985" was I correct? cos i'm thinking this contributed to my downfall and wouldn't want to fail such a question ever in my life.

In reading, I knew my weakness was T/F/NG; Y/N/NG and matching heading so I took out time to practice question on this alone until I started acing it consistently yet "I still enter 6.5 bus" lipsrsealed aside this I can't point a finger to what could be wrong with the reading section.

I planned on taking the next available test as "e dey hot" but on reading canadianfly's write up, I had to take a second guess cos she really made a good point; but my problem could not be practice as I invest good time in it.

Lastly, could it be BC

You know sometimes I think we try too hard for my answer I wrote 22/7/1985( standard way to fill Dob on any form). I came across a question like this during my practice n that was the way the answer was written. I just adopted that straight. As for reading try e2language with Jay. He breaks it down really good, had 5.5 in my first test n 7.5 now.
Pls relax n practice e no easy but we no get choice. Kindly accept my 2cents.
Regards.

Good evening,

I would like to confirm if Vet doctors can use WES for their ECA. I checked IRCC and WES website, and the only people exempted from using services like WES are Physician/Specialist Physician (NOC 3111 or 3112) and Pharmacist (NOC 3131).

Is this correct thank you.

Please thank you

Na wa. grin Any how, it's your lucky day....I'm in a Christian mood this night grin

First thing you need to know is if you are eligible for Express Entry - Federal Skilled Worker.

Visit the CIC website and to understand more about the Express Entry system. An excerpt from the page below:

Express Entry manages applications for three of our key economic immigration programs:

Federal Skilled Worker Program
Federal Skilled Trades Program
Canadian Experience Class
If you’re eligible to immigrate under one of these federal immigration programs:

we’ll place you in a pool with others who are also eligible
we’ll rank you and the others using several factors
if you’re a top candidate, you’ll get an Invitation to Apply to a specific program
if we invite you to apply, you can apply online for permanent residence

Find out what your score could be here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Once you determine that you can get a reasonable score, go to the British council website and register for the IELTS, also start your ECA (Education Credential Assessment). You have a choice of agencies to choose from. Once you have these two, jump into the pool and wait for ITA.

On the real though someone can't explain the process for you in one post. You will have to read the CIC website and this thread to understand the process fully so you don't make mistakes along the way. All the best.

Next step is to go to page 0, which is where you should have started from the beginning anyway. Everything is spelt out there. Like people keep stressing, this is an important journey and you should know these things for yourself. We are all lucky that things have been simplified to aid people just starting off. Use it

Thanks for your response, I guess the exam is entirely same with BC. Secondly, if I may ask was your test result better wit IDP/MOD?

E.g. if my highest qualification is a 2 year cert in business administration(obtained in canada) but I am applying under Noc B for a licensed practical nurse.

Hi, that's an NOI. If you accept, then you're going the pnp route and will get additional 600 points added to your crs.

If you feel positive about the csr cut off going lower, then I suggest you let it slide.

Consider your next bday, validity of your ielts results before making a decision.

All the best...
