Dear good people of Nairaland.

Please I need your help on how to correct my WES Evaluation. I included my WAEC results as part of the certificates to be evaluated by WES and made necessary payments. However, I realised that I am not supposed to include the WAEC and just evaluate my masters degree and professional qualifications. Now I am unable to delete same from the WES site. Please how do I go about deleting the WAEC certificate from list as this is slowing down my WES evaluation?

Please kindly help out.

Thanks and God bless.

Guys, i need your help here. I just got a message in my CIC account saying that the Government of Ontario is considering me for the Provincial Nomination Program.

It also states that if i accept the Nomination i might not be eligible for federal skilled workers, please am i supposed to accept or decline?

Kindly help, My CRS is just over 435.

Hold on do not respond to the nomination (NOTICE OF INTEREST-NOI) yet.Check l believe you have around 6 months to submit your application. But once you respond by accepting this nomination you are given a short timeline of 14 calendar days to apply and if you do not you will loose it.(House correct me here).

Mean while watch the trend of the next couple of draws within this period closely (confirm the 6months application timeline) if it drops to 430 and below and you get ITA YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO respond to your ITA only. But if you feel you can not wait and wish to get into the pool accept but before then have all your valid documents ready to apply because the timeline of the window to submit your application is very short.

Also there is an application fee of $1,500 charged for the process non refundable.

Use this opportunity to do some findings about Ontario Provincial Nomination Program.

Let say this hold this nomination in hand first do not be in a hurry to accept yet.Watch the trend of the next couple of draws

Good morning,

You should be able to state that you are unmarried but tick dependent child, not sure of the exact layout of the form again but that is possible.

I suppose POF will be for a family of two, you will also need things like consent letter from the mother/father when you are applying for PR post-ITA, people have had this issue, I am just not sure of their monikers again, try and search.

You will not have to fill the details of the child now but place holders and forms will appear on your profile post-ITA.

I hope this helps.

Good morning fellow nairalanders.

Kindly help with this question.

I am about to enter the pool but I need to get clarifications from the experienced ones. I am a single man but I have a son. How am I going to indicate this in the profile? Would the POF be for one person or two because of the baby? Please help out.

Thank you for your responses.

A colleague of mine received hers at home (by post) about 2 -3 weeks after the result was released. You should be able to get a family member preferable same surname to collect on your behalf. The person may need a letter of authority and photocopy of your passport.

Morning to all. Please I have followed this thread for a while now. I have written and passed ielts and just got my ECA assessment . My challenge at the moment is I don’t have a TRF for my ielts and I heard I have to go pick it up in person. I am not in port harcourt at the moment where the test was written. Please can the seniors in the house enlighten me on what I can do as I would love to enter the pool for tomorrow.
Thanks a lot

Hi everyone, please I have some more questions grin

About to dive into the pool but I need clarification on some matters. I'm sure it must have been answered before in the previous thread but I can't find it so please help me out, thanks:

1. I intend to use my 1 year experience during and post nysc ( event hough I have a total of 5 years experience). I know this is not a problem but do I declare only the 1 year experience when creating the profile or do I declare 5 years and then post ita put the 1 year under the work experience and the rest under personal history??

2. Will the answer above also apply to my spouse ( I'm the PA but we want ro declare some work experience eve though it won't add or to our score)

Thanks

Like for ICES, Share for WES.

Hi, you could simply ask your contact to give you the UPS tracking number so you'll check on UPS website to know when it reachs WES. I doubt if this was done though, my WES verification has been pending since Dec 2017 because of the NASU strike. They told me till they call off strike, nothing can be done.

Thank you very much for the response. It is well appreciated. For now, I do not have the intention of taking the child with me because he's still very young. Less than a year old. More responses on my earlier question would be appreciated. The Canny hustle is seriously real.

In that case, you still fill the child but choose non-accompanying. In future, you will be able to sponsor the child's PR.

Baba, I'm in your shoes, and I have filled mine, me and my daughter indicated that makes us 2 and POF will be for 2, your son will do medicals too and I think the mother will do too, whether your son is accompanying or not, the POF must be for 2.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by happytbaby: 10:06am On Jan 23, 2018
This is correct @ bolded. I do not think the mother has anything to do with the application.

Not sure it applies to all, but from my experience (Got my eca 6weeks after 2nd email), sending them a mail after 4 weeks helps to spur them to action.

How long did the whole thing take from the date they received all your documents to when you got ECA? Was it up the the 12 weeks they stated on their website?

I guess I will have to give them to the whole of this week before firing another mail.

Must the education one possess match the noc?
E.g. if my highest qualification is a 2 year cert in business administration(obtained in canada) but I am applying under Noc B for a licensed practical nurse.
No it must not match. But if you are going for PNP, some province requires your noc and experience to match

Just like @dannio has advised, scores might drop soon and you might get an ITA. However, you have only 45 days (instead of the 60 Dannio mentioned) to respond as stated here and you can get general info here. There is also a thread on Nairaland that is exclusively for PNP and this is being discussed right now.

In all, prepare to respond positively to the NOI but wait and see what happens with ITA before you apply. If the scores drop or look like dropping, hold on. But if close to the time of submission, CRS haven't reduced significantly, you can apply for the PNP. It is also a route to Canada. Just read as much as possible and equip yourself with all you need.

A bird in hand is worth two in the bush.

All the best with your decision

Anyway Area74, my advice is include everybody in the application. If you are worried about your CRS score you can have your WIFE take IELTS and do ECA or list her as unaccompanying. It just makes life easier and tidier.

Please I need a final confirmation. There wont be any problem using my nysc experience right? because I was discussing with a friend and she informed me that only the most recent work experience should be used. This has now confused me because I intend to put the recent work experience under personal history.

For my husband we want to submit his work reference letter and documents because we already have them. in that case I believe we are to declare it as work experience when creating our profile, right?

thank you
