Has it rebounded yet? Transcorp lost today. Closed yesterday 1.94 and today 1.90. Lets wait till the full bid at close of trading start happening.

Abi my understanding of a re-bound is wrong? Educate me more Sir.

That will be less than 5%
Yes..at current price it will be less than 5%... But some people's Av. Cost for GTB is still in the range of N20/share.

From my little experience trading, entering seems to be the easy part, knowing when to exit is the most difficult. That distinction between patience and greed can be so thin.

Chief, there's something they call IGG. You may ask Oracle for the meaning. grin

We will know more on these stocks after tomorrow/next week. This doesn't reflect any recommendation of any sort. Am heavy on cash but yet to recommend anything for myself. So make nobody follow follow me.

I still believe those billions of units of transcorp bought at 2.27 will not be sold at a loss.

At least it hasnt showed in the volumes sold after that very day.

25% profit must be made

You will start seeing full bid by monday.
Those billions may not be true 'sales'. It may just be crossing among same investors. For example, Tony may be crossing from one holding Company to another holding Company.

LOL. For a stock that will sell at 90k this year, that's no mean exaggeration ooo.

You should be asking what are they up to? I believe they may be planning to raise funds hence the 'fantastic' result. One of the stocks I am eyeing but very illiquid. They entered into some partnership last year to bring some foreign capita.

But it is too illiquid for my liking. This latest result appears to me as a bait.

Boss u seem to always want to align on the side of caution with virtually every coy. ...now that, I totally understand. cheesy grin
However It does seem to me that if every investor should have this same mindset, then the stock market would not be dynamic.
Don't get me wrong though. ...For I quite understand the need for one to be regularly inclined towards the side caution, especially in this investment clime. ...but if there are no 'mix in the fray', then there wont be market circles.
For me, whether a choice stock is born out of speculation, sentiment, technicals, fundamentals or even a tip off, money could always be made.
The 1st key to succeeding as an investor lies in knowing what one wants and why they really want it.
The 2nd which is also one of core Ingredient to success in the stock market is PROPER PLANING.
...If there is a laid out PLAN, and there's also the needed DISCIPLINE TO STICK TO THAT PLAN, then the chances of success will naturally be higher.
...And Like I always say, if u have no laid out plan for urself, then the market would automatically create one for u. ...and often times, they just might not be good ones.
That said, there is no such thing as certainties. ...For what works for all might not necessarily work for u. ...and on the flip side too, what fails to work for all might work perfectly for u.

The difference lies in discovering who u truly are. ...for its only after then that u can truly 'discover the market'.

Some are quietly making money while others are busy making noise.

Next support for Transcorp around N1:70k region.

it's quite a pity that alot of stocks has gone with Janet.

TLAX:
For those who bought shares from November 2017, dividend yields on your stock are going to be sub 5%. It may still be attractive to you if you annualize considering how long you have held, and how quickly, and at what price you can dispose. My forecast Y/E dividend for some companies are as follows, so over to you guys. Do the yield calcaulations based on your Av. Cost Price:

UCAP - 55k
.
Good Job

however i sincerely doubt if UCAP can pay up to 55k for 2017FY. the 50k that was paid last year was partly due to exceptional item of the insurance arm sold. to even equalize the 50k of last year might require them paying as high as 80% of annualised profit of result as at q3. i think it shld be more in d region of 35 - 45k which shld still give upper single digit / lower double digit DY as at today price.

pls note im heavy here and just doing a reality check of my expectations & not a buy or sell recomm

Bros leave that story. There are signs for you to leave. Making money comes with euphoria. Yiu are varied away by the euphoria and noise of rise and forget to leave. Don't listen to the gbedu in the bus; just put your head outside and be looking for your bus stop.

I told people that I have gotten to Sokoto and you guys can continue to Libya. This is a calculated exit considering many parameters.
