You say your work experience is in teaching,
how is your primary NOC now in Electrical Engineering? Even if you were teaching Electrical Engineering in a college or University, it's still an NOC for teaching that you'll choose. Let's start from there first. Not that it is the reason for the ineligibility.
Then check that you are inputting work hours per week and not per day.
ceemac:
Hi Folks, just on quick question..

My primary NOC is Electrical Engineering and I have all other things sorted including my IELTS, just my experience that the NOC is teaching as I intend to use NYSC experience as the 1 year.. My profile is returning as Ineligible. Can you kindly advise on what I may be getting wrong?

Could it be the incoherence between my Work experience and primary NOC? My IELTS overall band score is 8 tho.

Kindly assist

What applies to you is "Two or more certificates" You can use the OND+HND or OND+PGD. You may even use HND+PGD (not sure of this one) but either way, your option is 2 or more certs.

Oh! great.

Thank you so much.

Is there a section that specifically asks you to submit NYSC discharge certificate while completing PR forms post-ITA?

I am looking to claim three years' work experience. I completed my internship (3 months in year 2010) and NYSC (12 months in year 2012) at the same organisation and my supervisor is happy to provide me with a reference that covers both periods (as a "straight" work experience, totaling 1 year and 3 months - e.g. Jan 2012 - March 2013), which would go a long way in achieving the three years' work experience I desire to have a good score for ITA. This is crucial because I worked for one year and ten months with another company after NYSC. I thought the three months internship period could come right before the NYSC start month.
I was paid at my PPA during my NYSC and can provide bank statements for the 6 months terminal period if required. Both companies are well established and can be found easily on Google. Kindly advise.

Or would CIC equate 2 years, 10 months work experience as three years?
1. No, u don't need to submit your nysc certificate, search the thread, this has been extensively discussed in the past.
2.should be 3 (1&3mnths+1&10mnths)

Hello great people, I do not understand my current status

While Medical was waiting to be reviewed, My BG went from "NA" to "Your application is in progress, we will send you a message once the final decision has been made" to "We are processing your BGC", all change was within 2mins.
A day after, medical was passed.
Another day after, BG changed to "NA"

In fact, I can't just say if this is NA3 or NA2.

I actually paid upfront, please guys, does this mean BGC is complete and PPR next?

Thanks for quick response in anticipation

I think you are in NA2.

You should send it yourself. See the quoted post below

llanre03:
is it the school that will send the certificate or i will send a copy myself?
mcstan18:

- Follow THIS LINK to create an account
- Scan your certificate(s)
- On the scan copy, use the typewriter tool to type your WES reference number somewhere at the top. Make it bold enough to be seen at first glance but be careful not to obstruct any information on the certificate
- Save and upload document in the space provided on the hellofax page
- Type in WES fax number and send

I actually meant my course of study to even Masters Degree is in Electrical Engineering but I intend to use the NYSC as work experience which I did as a Basic Technology teacher.. Are you saying that my primary NOC will still be teaching?

Someone should kindly assist

Regarding the bolded part, CIC also said it might help to speed up processing if we pay both at the same time. How true is this really? All those processing times of 2 weeks and 1 month we see regularly, could it be because they paid both? is there a way we can run a poll on this? Thanks

Ordinarily, it should reduce processing time but I do not know by how much. Two people having the same profile and even same AOR date might end up not having the same timeline. It really depends on who's handling an application at the VO.
So, in one's best interest, do all you can that's within the purview of CIC guidelines to reduce ADRs (including payment requests), and consequently processing time

Check to be sure that the NOC you selected falls within 0, A or B. You can also share the profile (if you don't mind). I'm sure the good people here will be willing to help you verify eligibility

Yes. That is what I am saying. The primary NOC you choose must be the one you have work experience in. Not what you studied in the University.

Your NOC is teaching. Look for an NOC for teachers in High School or primary school, whichever one you taught in.

I need opinions and advice. I have an issue with my ielts registration. I registered for the January 20th exam and made payment. The application was cancelled. I called the british council customer rep and i was told to make another application for the next available date and call back to submit it to them. That i promptly did but since then there number has never connected again. I've countless mails to them stating my case and submitting the new reference number but got no response. Shortly the application was cancelled. I've done another application for the March batch and written, still no response yet from them. And they have no office in my State Enugu.

Please what can i do??

I learnt people get quicker responses from their Kano Office. Try contacting them via phone and see.

233, I chose standard mail of $7, as I do not actually need the hard copy of the report(85dols)
Please explain the breakdown of your payment to WES that resulted in you paying $233. What I saw on the website was $200 plus stand mail of $7 which altogether is $207. So how come you paid $233? PLEASE EXPLAIN because I have budgeted $207 for my WES evaluation.

Lol. You also pay HST which brings it to $233.91. So this is what you should budget.
Meanwhile, you and this your caps. Comes across like you're shouting.

Hi my e-family,

Pls people my husband transferred me the complete POF and i invested it in fixed deposit. Do i still have to print my 6 months statement of account?

You only need to print the fixed deposit certificate. It is important to also provide the transaction receipt for the transfer from your husband, ur bank statement showing the incoming transfer and provide an LOE to that effect.

However, providing the six months statement is as good, just an additional proof.

Add an LOE, explain that your employer does not issue pay slips and that for this reason you have included bank statement showing payments from your employer. Highlight the payments (from your employer) within a 3 or 6-month period.
