If PE = Market price / EPS
Then going by Eternal Q3, 2017 result. It's today maximum market price stands at 5.99 and Q3 EPS stands at #1.55

5.99/1.55 = 3.86.
Am still wondering why investors has not look their way.

And it's full year might stand at 2.10
5.99/2.10 = 2.85.

Making them the stocks with the lowest PE in the market.

Their fair value comparing with the most stocks in the market should be around #13 to #15.
By this time next year, their price might goes above the current fair price I mentioned.

There is a court case which can go either way. Subsidy probe.

I hope the case will come up this month?
But court cases in Nigeria, don't always send company packing, instead it will only last one week. A case study of GTB verses Innoson motors.

The probe, from my own side of view will be sweep under the carpet.

Many who went into Oando recently while still on technical suspension know what they are doing. Don't expect any to sell off because of some kind of news. Last week I deliberately asked a question and it pointed to something like this. That there are some stocks where the shareholders are neither ready to sell nor buy more grin

Too bad working with Brokers that don't allow online trading...you ask them to sell it takes long time!!!
Anyways now we know better, thanks to Brokers with online platform.
It's good bye Janet (Rabbi I hail o) to analog brokers - gradually exiting ans off we go - forget all these past mistakes.

Current price ring your bell jor, time to rest.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Investnow2017: 2:41pm On Jan 29, 2018
Dear Esteemed Client,

Last week, we expressed our concern about the bullish trend witnessed in the market and how nothing has significantly changed in the course of the year to warrant such momentum, and thus, we concluded that the tempo was going to lose steam; the market lost on four (4) days of the week, and the weak unemployment data as well as the lack of quorum at the first MPC meeting of the year did not help matters. So, for this week, are we expecting the bearish trend to persist?

From today, the par value rule and new pricing methodology will take effect and that has implications for trading volatility. For stocks trading below NGN5.00, we should see some price stickiness as they will require double the previous volume of 50,000 units to effect price change, however, there should be appreciable level of intra-day movement, which is a plus for traders.  On the other hand, there should be some higher level of trading volatility on stocks trading at NGN100.00 and above, given that these stocks will only require a fifth of the previous volume for a price change. By implication, the beta of those stocks is likely to increase relative to their historical levels, and this can be a useful tool when switching between high and low beta stocks as market mood changes.

We believe that, at least for the first week of the launch, the equities market should greet the new development with some positive sentiment, which is expected to be more pronounced in the Group A category (“N100.00 or above, for 4 of the last 6 months, or new security listings priced at N100.00 or above at the time of listing”).

Thus, barring any downbeat macroeconomic data and news flow, we expect the market to close marginally higher by the end of the week, despite the loss reported in the previous week.
