Hello Fam,

Can someone recommend the cheapest courier service for sending document to WES.

You may try FedEx for 15800. It's about the cheapest I know for 2 working days delivery.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Newmum0615: 6:18am On Jan 30, 2018
Depends on what you are sendin.g. If it's your certificate, why not try using hellofax via the internet. Lots of people have used it successfully.. But if it is transcript, I'm sure your school will already have a designated courier company except they are giving it to you to send. For that one, you can use CourierPlus or the popular UPS or DHL which come at a higher cost

Thanks for the detailed reply. I have an insider in the registrars' office who confirmed that no email has been received from WES yet. And she says that many people have complained about the same issue with WES verification emails.

I guess my next step is to use your facebook route and send them nonstop messages and until they check into their system.

WES claims they send physical mail to the school. Am wondering how long that would take to reach the school?

balogunsam:

You will receive a mail to that effect..if you do not get a mail, contact them via Twitter, Facebook or whatever means necessary.

@Inception12 the same thing applies to you sir.

Here is my experience

I waited for about two weeks for the school to receive the verification request WES claimed to have sent but got nothing. Then i was able to get the contact of someone on the registrar's office who confirmed nothing like that came for me. He then gave me an email address to give WES to send the request to but WES said they could not do that. I then started mounting pressure on WES via Facebook and i complained bitterly till one of the customer reps said he would look into it and we had to wait hours for facebook message replies but it worked out as he discovered there was a sort of system malfunction that did not allow the verification request reach my school despite showing them tht it went through. This was instantly fixed and i got an email instantly that the verification request has been sent to the school. I called my contact the following day, he logged in and confirmed they'd received it.

1. The main help you need is having someone on ground that can confirm receipt of the verification request
2. There is no instant way to reach WES. Most take time or will not go through. However, facebook worked for me

Cheers!

Good morning People, so i got a request for travel history for my spouse. Do i have to fill in my own travel details as well as the form says this form should be filled by the principal applicant or i ignore that and only my spouse fills the form. Thanks for your Swift response my gurus.

My people make una put mouth for this matter oo,

A friend of mine used an agent for her PR application and says they have been stuck for not providing IRAQI PCC, as they were told that the spouse only came to Iraq on work visa, hence cannot be issued a PCC. As it stands, no headway according to the agent.
She wasn't asked to provide those refusal mails/conversation with the Iraqi folks and possibly anything that may really show this things by the agent
Right now, she is beginning to wonder if it's just only the PCC that is the problem, and doesn't have access to her account.
Pls how can she go about getting access to her account from the agent and possibly tackling this Iraq PCC /any other matters arising.

Pls help @40manlappy ,cochtrane, Kontagious et al

I think you should be fine with the above but see if you can get a signed certificate of subscription. I assume that the e-certificate was not signed.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. Coincidentally, I just received a mail from WES about the verification.

This is to advise you that photocopies of your documents have been sent to your institution for verification and that your file has been placed on hold until we receive their written response.

I understand that the verification can either be paper based or email based. In this situation, is the verification sent via email or otherwise? I'll like to know so that I'll know who to contact in my school.

Thank you once again.

Praise God!
I was made to understand different schools have different preferred methods. Some use emails while others use hard copy. Try reach out to folks from your school who may have gone through the WES experience before you or reach out to those you know in the school regristrar's office who may be informed. Cheers!

Good day house,
Oh wow! so many pages, don't even know where to start from. I am hoping to start my express entry application this week as I am awaiting my IELTS result from 20th Jan. Please advise or point me to the relevant pages. I just need guidance on what to do and how to go about it. I have four continuous years experience in Business Development, I have a BSc and Masters degree. Will really appreciate any guidance please.
Considering the time it might take to verify my Undergraduate degree from Nigeria, is it better to just indicate only my masters degree which was from the UK when filling the form?
Many thanks.

This has been tackled many times brother. Its strongly advised you read te topics bookmarked on page zero of this thread as it will make your life easier. For your verification, use your masters...and being from a school in the UK, you are lucky because verification is much much easier than our schools here. Best of luck!

Thanks so much for your response and I am a sister o grin. I was just overwhelmed with all the many pages grin. But I am on it already, I have now paid for WES verification and sent the form to my school so I am sure they will get on that once they resume this morning, glad I can use only the Masters as the stress of dealing with Nigerian Registry offices is better left to be imagined.

God be praised!
That is the problem with most Naija higher institutions. For physical mail, i don't know if they use DHL or FedEx..if its either it should be there in a week while if it is regular mail that will arrive via NIPOST...that could take a while. Reach out to your contact to give you the school or registrar's office e-mail address for such correspondence then give that to WES..who knows..you may find favour like i did. Pray you do! God bless!

Very good response and also helpful
Depending on how soon you want to start the process, I will advise to write IELTS (General) as soon as possible as these exams get filled up quickly and there are usually specified dates in a month to write them.

Wishing all of us the very best
