This is incorrect.
Wes specifically made allowance for people who their university refuses to send their transcript. I have copied this info from WES FAQ. Op find below. I copied and pasted it

"To send your academic transcripts to WES correctly, make sure:
They are in a sealed envelope with your institution's name on it.
The seal, stamp, or signature of an official officer at the institution overlaps the back flap of the sealed envelope as shown in the example below.

Ask your institution to send your academic transcripts directly to WES.
If your institution will not send them directly to us, you may send them. Be sure to follow the instructions for sending a sealed envelope.

Note: WES accepts academic transcripts in sealed envelopes that have not been opened. Documents will not be accepted if the envelope is opened or the seal is broken. Please view the required documents for the country where you studied for more information."

Well according to wes they know there are times the school gives the transcript to the applicant and so they have explained on their site what to do when you are given your transcript.

I dont think the location of dispatch is relevent. If you are in doubt, contact them

I have been in your shoes before and so I have first hand experience. My spouse's transcript was given to her and we sent to WES via courier from a different state. No issue arose from it and ECA has been completed. Just ensure the seal is not tampered with.

I'd like to know which is preferable sending it from ogun state the location of my university or sending it from lagos where I reside via ems,ups or dhl. I want to know if this won't be questionable by wes that I am sending the transcript by myself instead of the school sending it directly. Your prompt response woukd highly by appreciated friends. WES WILL accept your transcripts so far it's sealed/stamped and the flap is signed.
Just follow the instructions on the website after you pay.

bro, with due respect, please go to page zero and READ from there onward... this issue has been dealt with millions of times on this thread.. some people even wrote a break-down step on how to fax to WES.

The yearly update to proof of funds has been completed. Check your Express Entry profile to make sure you have enough funds and are still eligible:

IQAS will evaluate transcript sent to them by your school whether DOB or not. Stop panicking for nothing. They are not evaluating your DOB but your results.

Hello, you need to send your certificate separately to them, sign up for a free account on www.hellofax.com and fax the certificate to WES, their fax number is 1-416-972-9004. Sent mine this afternoon and it has already been received. Your transcript is sent directly to them from your Uni, except in situations where you have been given the transcript in a sealed envelop by your Uni then you will have to courier that to WES.

IMHO, send the transcript from the City/State where your school is located at.

Yes ur husband needs to evaluate his credentials and do ielts for you to get the highest possible score.

It depends. what's your crs score without him evaluating his credentials? if it's high enough then he might not need to.

Also why don't you begin with the evaluation of your transcripts first. While u wait, read intensely for ielts. Except u have 68k to dash BC.

Only if without his IELTS and ECA you don't have a good enough score for ITA. Both factors only add 30 points to you. So if without either or both of them, your score is ok, then do without.
