I have this close friend for over 19years, he has this habit of stealing my money anytime I fall asleep after drinking. 2 years ago he stole 10k from my wallet that I kept for someone, (I stopped talking to him for over a year we reconciled last year), when I woke up he was insisting that I spent it, last night I slept off after drinking late into the night, when I woke up, I discovered he had stolen 9k from my wallet again. What is the best way to treat such a person? I am getting sick and tired of how he pilfers money each time I fall asleep and we are together

Depends on the guy o, we have seen guys whom you give money to help you get something and they disappear for weeks.
OP, better learn to keep your money in a place where your friend can't reach it. Some people are cursed, any time they see money they must pilfer.
