butterflyl1on:Supplements existed in the 1950s The owners of Tyke were not as irresponsible as you are making out. They tried to feed it meat for 4 years and consulted many experts who most likely would have recommended supplements to what it missed from not eating meat! If they didn't Tyke would have died of malnutrition. 1 Like |

[quote author=butterflyl1on post=64808763] Dalaman it's a pity that you are deliberately embarrassing yourself. Right from1950 till date (2018) everyone knows that tyke the vegetarian lion was real and was assessed by vets and even a world famous zoo curator. Maybe you know something they who physically saw and assessed this lion do not know. You are sitting where ever you are in 2018 but somehow know something all the people since 1950 till date do not know about this cat. I have even helped you further by daring you to find from the vastness of the world wide web, one comment IN ANY LANGUAGE from the world wide web that says tyke the vegetarian lion was fake and a lie. Only one is all there is to it. You are in 2018 and your denial of the obvious is simply due to your heady nature and your inability to accept you are wrong due to your proud nature so you will keep arguing to your grave even when everything is true and you are the one being ignorant. Don't take my word for it. Take advantage of the vastness of the world wide web and refute my word. It's you and the world wide web against me so use it and shut me down [/quo My dear you dey try oh! Replying all these talk, you have proved your point, just let it go! Please! Ask Muslim converts what happened to them and hear their stories.. Stop trying so hard to convince any man.. Let it Go! |

What the bible said about Eve was "multiplication of pains and sorrow while giving birth", meaning by default all female (humans and animals) feel pains while giving birth but that of female humans is like x2/4 |

dalaman: Sigh here is another exception. The pine snake (Pituophis melanoleucus) has a vocal cord it is the only snake in the world with a vocal cord. What is a vocal cord used for. It works as the producer of your voice when your tongue touches it in instinct ways. This snake unlike it's counterparts has a vocal cord. Wouldn't you think that all snakes shouldn't have such? It not only hisses, it makes a deep loud roar. A sound which is strange in snakes. All it now needs is enough intelligence like the other "out of the ordinary) animals I already listed and it would be taught to make human speech. It has a tongue and a vocal cord and already knows how to use the tongue with the vocal cord to make deep roaring sounds. |

butterflyl1on: Where is the evidence you have of a snake talking Ogbeni? I won't even allow you get away with your stupidity because you want to defend ancient Jewish mythology at all cost. We were told the snake had a real time conversation with a Woman. Animals no matter how they are trained can NOT have real time conversation with humans. They can ONLY mimic words they've been taught over time. They can not hold real time conversation with anybody. You are here stupidly trying to tell us that a snake had a real time conversation with a woman and even convinced her to do something she was against and expect me not to call you a fool for even trying to say its teal because it appeared in some ancient book of mythology and folklore. You are a senseless mor0n. 1 Like |

superhumanist: Like I said, read all I posted on this matter. Here is a bit of it. Scientific dilemma She could not have been drinking 500 gallons of milk or 4000 eggs a day plus tuarine was relatively unknown in 1950 and was known in 1976. Yet she lived for 9 years and was reported as the healthiest African lion ever seen by a world famous zoo curator. Cc budaatum |

butterflyl1on:Come on, butter, you rear pigs! You know what happens if your pigs are not fed the right nutrients! You are wrong about additives. The lion's diet would have required some severe diet knowledge or it would not have gotten the nutrients it required. Most unfortunate is that all the evidence for Tyke the Veggie Lion is given by religious folks like you, and veggie apologetics. Would have been good to have some verifiable evidence. However, the fact remains that apart from in the controlled environment of domestication, no lion has been know to be vegetarian. |

budaatum: Google tyke the vegetarian lion and see if it's only religious folks like me that have his info. Go on and do that And who spoke about about vegetarian lions in the wild? That is not part of our discussion. The discussion is can lions live without meat as carnivores? The answer is obviously yes since this one was raised for 9 years strictly vegetarian. |
Re: Animals That Feel Pains Of Birth, Did They Eat The Forbidden Apple Too? by butterflyl1on: 3:38pm On Feb 05, 2018 |
Also budaatum, dalaman your fellow atheist disagrees with you. He says no lion can be vegetarian due to their strict carnivore digestive system. Seems both of you need to argue this one out while I sit back and rest my fingers 1 Like

butterflyl1on:Vegetarian Lioness: Little Tyke Here's the most objective article I've found on the topic. Still leaves a lot out. They could have said what they fed it, and consequences but didn't. Could it have survived in the wild, for instance on the diet they gave it? What was the consequence of it not having taurine? And so on. |

I was wondering why they kept calling it Little Tyke. Was it perhaps small for it's age? Seems it died young too, 9 years as opposed to 25-30, for a lion in captive. I wrote an article on Little Tyke for the White River Valley Museum s newsletter a couple of years ago. She lived just down the street from my house (although a generation earlier). Yes, she died early for a lion in captivity; it s unknown if her unusual diet played any role (perhaps weakening her immune system?). It s likely that she never ate meat because she didn t have a mother to introduce it to her as a lioness will do for her cubs in the wild. Furthermore, at the time she would normally have been learning to eat meat, she was recovering from a tremendously painful burn--she likely learned to associate the smells of raw flesh with intense pain and, therefore, avoided all contact with raw meat. Georges Westbeau, her owner, spun all kinds of nonsense about having trained her to eat a vegetarian diet to her being a sign from God (the lion lying down with the lamb and all that). He was definitely a bit of a P.T. Barnum in that respect. |
