Good morning guys,
At what stage does one get ADR for "Additional Family Information"? Does this mean PPR is near? Background check is NA2 btw.

Also how does one submit it as theres no placeholder? Should it be submitted via CSE?

E se pupo!

Foe real ,for real. I think that's prelude to PPR. What does your BG say?

Modified didn't read the second part. You can be in NA2 and get PPR. Very possible. Congrats soon come.

Hello guys. Pls i need advice on how to go about this express entry, i am currently on 395, but my wife is a registered nurse with a specialization in periopathy and 2yrs experience , how can i utilize her to ensure my scores climbs up?

Her work experience doesn't add points, but she can give you points by taking Ielts and getting an ECA for her Nursing degree

Hello Guys,

Is it compulsory for a FSW to land in the province mentioned in the application (also in COPR, I guess)?

I got ITA yesterday too, all Thanks to the Almighty Allah. What CIC did yesterday nearly gave someone a high BP angry. I eventually stop refreshing and reading post here something around 6pm because I thought all hope was lost with yesterday's draw. But I decided to check before going to bed, and there it was. I pray everyone waiting for good news shall have it sooner than they are expecting it. smiley smiley

Hmmm! What a remark, at the bold info. Let's be careful at the words we use and not water down things outrightly. I think it's better to say for the purpose of gaining additional point on this EE exercise. Atleast the work experience will be very useful if and when she gets to Canada. Some words really cut deep into some people. My 2 kobo.

I wish everyone still waiting for IELTS, WES and ITA God's favour. The journey to PPR have started.

I have the following questions:

1. I have reference letters from the three places I worked in Nigeria dated November 2017. Hope I can still use them? I collected them when I visited Nigeria last year.

2. Can I just request for my stamped and signed statement of account from my bank for the POF (It is a UK account)? If no, can someone give me the template for the POF letter.

3. By God's grace, I should have my first child in a couple of days from now, should I wait to have the child before submission or I can proceed with the submission? Also considering the fact that I might not be able to process and get the baby's passport sorted ASAP cos of passport shortage and bureaucratic bottlenecks in Nigeria embassy, London.

4. Who is the best officer to approach at Alagbon for the PCC (cheap price and speed)?

She didn't mean it that way but I get your point. We need to be a bit more subtle, all of us have to watch our words so they are not misconstrued.

I know you have apologised already, eventually when you order a GCSM note you will see what promoted his/her question. I read mine for like three days before getting the hang of it. Mind you i had read discussions on canadavisa of how to read notes but still.

If you are asking about my work experience documentation, I only added work reference letter from my employer in addition to my supervisor's call card, some work mails, staff ID and nothing more. If they need my payslips, they should ask me.

Na you be the problem sir, not wifey. grin

You need to get a minimum of 8 in Listening to get above 400 in your CRS. To maximize your score, you should retake IELTS and aim for at least:

L - 8.5
R - 8
W - 7.5
S - 7.5

This will give you 128 points for Language skills and increase your skill transferability.

Na now you come. You need to rewrite your IELTS and score at least 8 in listening and maintain same score in other components (higher score in writing) if possible to max out your scores and increase your CRS to above 400.

@GlitteringStar

Kindly help with a suggestion. I intend to write a certificate level exams in accounting. The certificate program has four papers but with my BSc, I can claim exemptions for all the four papers and still be awarded the certificate. However, for ECA purpose, if I choose to claim 2 or 3 exemptions and opt to write 2 or 1 paper in the program, will I still get a positive evaluation from WES for a college level certificate?

I await your response and other contributions from the forum.

Thank you.

Kindly help me with the quoted message.

1.Money orders can be bought from any post office in the US, you will have to send someone (I am surprised you are asking though, if you have spent cumulative of 180 days in the US......)

2. Courier your fingerprint and other form(s) to someone that will help you help you mail the application. You need to check the link on CIC website on US FBI PCC to confirm if it could be sent by regular mail or if it has to be by registered mail.

3. People I know go to police station to do it. It may be better to have a professional do it to avoid stories that touch.

P.S: you need to start early, it takes time.

I rewrote it but my score in listening fell to 6.5. Writing ielts from my location which is australia is much more difficult than writing it in nigeria. And my spouse is in Nigeria

If I understand you correctly, you are try to do the FBI PCC from Nigeria? To answer your questions:

1) The money order that they accept is usually done in the U.S at the post office or gas station. You are better off filling your card information on the Credit card form, and they'll charge it when they're ready to process your application.

2) I used DHL to send mine. I was sending for hubby and my self so I got two envelopes and sealed our forms separately then put the two envelopes in one DHL Envelope to save cost. So I sent two applications with one DHL transaction. FedEx I found was terrible service.

3) We did our fingerprinting ourselves. Hubby did mine, by holding my fingers and doing it correctly using an ink pad not pen oh, and I did his too. I should also tell you that we sent 6 sets of fingerprint cards each. So 12 in total. I took a cue from bbaby84's experience and advise not to send 1 set, in case they can't lift all the prints properly, they can have 5 more to try grin
I should also advise that when you print the fingerprint card, you should print it on hard paper, like cardboard not regular printing sheets. In fact read the FBI website and follow their advise to the T.

Please find out well and be sure before you make this move.

I have a personal person whom while waiting/processing student application/visa after gotten admission and paid part of tuition;
got PNP from Nova Scotia.

Both student application and PNP was cancelled rejected.

Do not forget it is the same system, it is on the same cic page you apply for EE and student visa.

I do hope the action would not be seen as trying to circumvent the system.

Please ask as many question as possible on this.

All the best

GlitteringStar:

Yes. That is my plan too. You will change to a domestic student once you land.
