An act of goodwill. But the lady is under no obligation whatsoever to accept marriage proposal. We could have called her names if the kidney donation was done on agreement of marriage and afterward she backed out. And I too would have called the guy names for trying to corner her into marriage just because of condition. That would no longer be love. They both exercised their freewill. God bless them

See dear, I'm not blaming anyone here. And I'm not ready to start. If you read my comments you will see I was mainly trying to tell myself what I would have done if I were in her shoes.

As for my earlier comment you wrote in bold letters, I still maintain my stand. She doesn't owe him anything. What a lot of you here are doing is to make it look like the guy attached a condition to his kidney donation to her. He didn't. From his tone you would see that. He still offered to be her friend. And dont forget he offered to do what he did willingly and not under duress. Same thing JESUS did. That's love without conditions. We are the ones making the girl look bad. She has the right to know what she wants. She may have reasons we don't know about(since we haven't heard from her) for turning him down. Now, that's for her.

As for me, if I were the one, just like someone said earlier, after his sacrifice, he deserves to have ALL OF ME. Cos I couldn't have found a better partner.
