Maybe we need to ask NTA to release those tapes and put on YouTube.

That's exactly what was on my mind. I've been trying to remember its name! A Nairalander posted the title of that Nigerian muppet show many years ago, but I can't find the post.

That was Puppet World...produced by NTA Jos, which in the 1980's was where NTA did a lot of its kids programing.(though other branches like NTA Sokoto too got on the act with Kidivision 101).

This entire thread was inspired by Speed Racer. I got the idea to do this thread after watching the intro of Speed Racer again, then I forgot to include it in the list. It should have been number 1. I've added it (at the end) as a bonus video.

Superted!!!!! I also loved voltron,the defender of the universe. What about turtle ninjas, ghost busters,tom and jerry,mickey mouse, etc. If only Naija could return back to what life was in the 80s.

OP thanks for bringing back sweet memories of the good old days, when I had zero worries. Every 4pm after school I would rush to put on the tv to NTA2 Channel 5 to watch these cartoons.
