Oh marvelous! These are sweet & good old memories. It was just like yesterday. To those born in the 90's, cartoon never started today, 80s & 70s guys has watched the best in their days, even the Tom&Jerry you're watching today has been there for long.

Missing in the list are: elly cat, space ghost, captain caveman, G-Force, Tarzan, Ranjam Ranget.
Sesame Street was so educating, and i learned quite alot from it. There you are taught numbers letters, how to pronounce words. Some of the stars are cookie master, forgetful Jones, Big bird, froggie, Enie and Bird.
It was so good then.

The Simpsons was not shown on Nigerian television until the 1990s. Ditto for Inspector Gadget (LTV started showing Inspector Gadget in the early 1990s).

I loved Pigeon Street... especially the episode where the whole pigeon street was flooded. Memories.

'If you lived...in pigeon street... there are people you would see... there are people...you would say hello, goodbye, hello, goodbye, everyday... '

Was their Multichoice in Nigeria in the 70s and 80s? You probably grew up in the 90s, that's why you don't know most of the cartoons.

It's already on the list. I posted the intro. That's The Chuckle Hounds, starring the Chuckle Brothers.
Please what is the name of this cartoon. the main character's name is Sarah. She's a young village girl. there's this playful song about the character by another character and it goes sarah baby Sarah... They talked about electricity, education etc
Thanks

I loved Voltron, and Superted.

'they found something wrong with him, and threw him away, like a piece of rubbish, into an old dark store. Then from outer space, a spotty man, brought him to life, with his cosmic dust, and then he became, superted.'

lol! I might have fumbled the end part, but that is kinda how the intro to superted was. I loved it. I loved the fact that spotty could fly with his jet pack, and used to always wish I had a jet pack. lol! My favorite episode was the one where that Texas Pit's sidekick (I cant remember his name), got superted's powers, and started causing trouble all over the place. I think he overheard the magic word. lol! Memories. I have the image in my head as he flew out of the truck he was in.

That's exactly what was on my mind. I've been trying to remember its name! A Nairalander posted the title of that Nigerian muppet show many years ago, but I can't find the post.

The Puppet Show. I think it was called. Was made by NTA Jos... The name of the band was Top Hitters Band.

Those born in the early 1990s will still no some of the cartoons thanks to NTA channel 10 and channel 5. Thanks for helping me remember the past but i am afraid I was not born when most of the cartoons aired.

The guy who provided the voice for Danger Mouse, Sir David Jason, was also the star of many sitcoms on LTV in the 1980s, eg "A Sharp Intake of Breath".
