When this part 3 was opened, I made a silent declaration that my PPR story will be told here and here it is!

I want to give God the praise because myself and spouse wrote IELTS in August 2017 once using only ieltsbuddy.com and the road to IELTS from BC. Then ASUU or was it NASU strike held back our WES until Nov/Dec 2017. Family size of 5.

We started this process using the CIC website only until I stumbled on this thread (part 2) through Google.
I will encourage newbies to read the CIC website and thoroughly because every needed info is there and seek further guidance or Naija experience from this thread and parts 1 and 2.

Thanks for the feedback. I want to assume that you submitted an SOA and Bank's reference cos you had funds in them to show and not because you wanted to use them to support the fixed deposit certificate.

Just wana be sure that an SOA and BR aren't compulsory if one is submitting POF using fixed deposit or mutual fund.

Cheers

Thanks dear, I have no problem starting small. Growth is geometrically.
Not really asking about practicing in Canada, my question is about migrating to Canada through this channel. Of course I will practice when I get there but first thing first is to migrate through this PR route.
Please any information that will be useful to me as a Nurse, please i need to grab it. Thanks!.

Bank reference letter should be used o irrespective of fixed deposit certificate. Statement of account is not necessary.

OK. But for a Non-Bank Financial Institution (i.e. ARM Investment Limited) that manages Mutual Funds. I believe the letter they would issue would have the wordings of a regular bank reference letter and also also the date account was opened and amount of funds one has therein. This is fine right?

Don't use WES....apply with IQAS if you know its not BSN u have. My research so far hasnt seen anyone who got a favourable response with WES except those with a degree

No personal idea but I will find out in 12 weeks after all my credentials get to IQAS. However a senior colleague on the thread assessed his RN and RPN (psychiatry) and it came out favourable.

Just close your eyes and have it assessed. You never can tell but what I think is that if anyone would give u a favourable report it's most likely going to be IQAS.

Midwifery is a separate programme in canada.

Yes. The letter must be in IRCC format as stated in the website. The website said financial institution. It must not be bank only.

Non Bank Financial Institution (i.e. ARM Investment Limited) that manages Mutual Funds. I believe the letter they would issue would have the wordings of a regular bank reference letter and also also the date account was opened and amount of funds one has therein. This is fine right?[/quote]

OK, but a mutual fund reference letter wouldn't have 6 months average balance.

Please, can someone who has used mutual fund as POF share a sample of the letter submitted to IRCC?

Thanks

I wanted the SOA to show the inflow of funds as the FD was just some days old (didn't want to keep idle funds and no time to start TB). I also had some extra funds in the account.
