Euouae: How many updates of documents received did you get from WES? Or did you send both your transcript and certificate at the same time? If you sent them differently, you should have received 2 updates when each was received. If you sent them the same time then you might need to check with them (as long as the transcript was in the acceptable form). If you sent them together, I will check with WES if transcript was received before proceeding to contact the school to avoid chasing shadows. |

Sorry you didn't achieve the required scores, never give up! As regards the writing part, I hope you wrote your words/spellings in full because abbreviations will do more harm than good. See the bolded. Eilenora: 10 Likes |

Congrats to all those who got their required Ielts score. Please I urge those who got 6.5 in writing especially if your confident about what you wrote to ask for remarking. The way the writing session is scored is highly subjective also the people who mark this writing are obviously regular people. Please don’t give up,go for remarking. 4 Likes |

Thanks a bunch. I will book another test by God's grace. However, am seeking a remark cos I'm very sure of what I did on that exam day. My only fear was in writing. Am at BC right now to submit my EOR. I'm believing God for a miracle in the listening too. BTW, I open I can update my profile with this result / reference number pending I write another test or receive my updated scores? Though it may tarry, it will surely come. Good Day House Please i need clear understanding of the type of relatives that we can claim relationship with in Canada. My wife father, his elder sister daughter who is married and pr holder in Canada, can we claim her as a relative? (i believe they are first cousins by my own understanding) The mother's maiden name is the same as my wife maiden name, but since is from a woman lineage, the woman maiden name is different from my wife maiden name because of her mother's marriage to her father. Please advise me if we can claim her as a relative to have additional 15 points? Thanks so much all and it will all end in Praises for all of us awaiting to pass IELTS or get ITA. |

Eilenora: The bolded words clearly shows writing no be your tool of trade. It should be "I'm" not Am.... Runs away On the real, the reason why folks fail writing is because there is writing and there is something called IELTS writing pattern. The markers are looking for that pattern in your writing. Not your big big English. Read IELTS Advantage tip on how to start writing and what to include, the use Jay of E2 Language on YouTube to complete the magic on your writing. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Eilenora: I hope you didn't write like this during the test. I'm thinking some people (unconsciously) make these makes seeing as we mostly chat using abbreviations. Regardless, you can still ask for a remark if you're sure of what you wrote. 1 Like |

Bimsebony: You can request for a remark. Note: The procedure takes six to eight weeks from the date your scripts are received by the Senior Examiners in the UK. Giving consideration to the travel time to and from the UK, it may take ten weeks from the date of your payment for the Enquiry on Result service. If your score increases after the EOR you will receive a new Test Report Form and the EOR cost will be refunded. During the period of re-marking the test results are frozen and cannot be used to apply for a university placement or be sent to an immigration authority (Culled from British Council's website). I wish you the best. |
