Baura is a hausa weapon a kind of kind of large knife similar to Barandami or Ngario. Lol! It does actually. Ahmadu is a pretty common name and it's neither Hausa nor Fulani. Fulanis don't adopt Hausa surnames nor do Hausas adopt Fulani surnames. The fact that he was educated at that time even suggests further that he's Fulani because they being most the ruling class were the first to get educated in the north. Go back and read the rest of the debate. Hausas do not adopt Fulani surnames nor do fulanis adopt Hausa surnames. As for the names you mentioned, like I said, minorities use Hausa first names more than hausas themselves. A person with a surname dikko can never be hausa. Like the chances aren't slim but zero.
