Bros, now you are getting me seriously scared. I am also in this but in my case, they deduct 50,000 from my salary as a direct debit though its from another insurance company. Its been running for about 3 years now and its meant to run for 5 years.
i had similar experiencd with mutual benefit. i got less than what i contributed. They are just scammers. My account officer is a fraudster and d company is protecting him.

I'm suspecting this is the hand work of Account officers...deliberately making our bid to fail...
If not for OGA TONY who gave me the insight last time to follow them up,i wouldn't have participated in the last auction.
Please what do you suggest we do next?

it's a matter of reading the fine print before you go in, and picking your plan properly. Because if you pick an insurance plan you'll be paying insurance premiums yet the investment returns are quite low. That's why if you terminate short term a loss is certain.

I did mutual benefit for one year and the returns were decent compared to regular savings account. Was a plan of just 10k per month and had no issues liquidating after the one year.

I sent an email using firstonline web interface to the so called RM requesting TB forms. Its been about 2 weeks now, no response no forms.
Gurus in the house, is there a way by which i can get hold of these forms without been physically present at any First Bank's branch?
Thanks in advance for your response.

Try firstcontact@firstbankofnigeria.com you should get a reply after 24hrs. Monday morning will be better as today is as good as gone. Just send it very early in the morning before they get to the office.

The lady who told you that your 364 days bid was unsuccessful MUST have told you nothing but the truth.

I am sure you're not alone in this because CBN offered to sell N51Billion worth of Treasury Bills while investors offered to buy N283Billion worth.

The auction was therefore about 455% over subscribed. So only banks that bided low were able to succeed and the stop rate for that tenor was more or less equal to same rate with 182day tenor.

Same is likely to happen next bidding and as I posted yesterday, I won't be surprised if the next stop rate for 182daya is higher than that of 364 days-can you imagine?

If you don't want to settle for a lower tenor next two weeks, then go for the longest tenor you can get at the secondary markets of either First Bank or Stambic that will not be less than 13.5% and it's mostly easier to get very early in the day especially on Mondays

i got credited the tbil I did 91 with FBN yesterday. I want to reinvest it in the second quarter of this year, will the rates be high then in secondary market for Q2?

Hmmmmmmm.
Only Baba God can tell.
It depends on a lot of factors many of which can't be foretold. But my feeling is that it's not looking likely to be high then ( just my own feeling please).

You may see my post on page 467 @8:25am on 06 Feb 2018 where I expressed my reasons for thinking so.
