hello good people please i got this from ukvi today please any hint from this graduate please help

Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.

If you have made a Settlement application (except for applications lodged in USA and Canada): you must ensure that your UK sponsor has sent all relevant supporting documentation to the UK Decision Making Centre in Sheffield. The documents should be arranged in this order: application form and relevant Appendix* (See below); English language evidence; relationship documents; maintenance documents; accommodation documents. If documents are not received a decision will be taken on the basis on the information that has been provided.

If you have already had your supporting documents scanned in at the Visa Application Centre, or if you have already sent them in to us, please ignore the request for documents.

Please note that UKVI aims to complete all Visit Visa applications within 15 working days and all Settlement Visa applications within 12 weeks of the application date. If it is not possible to complete your application within this timeframe a member of our team will contact you to explain why.

If you have paid for Priority Service, your application will be placed in front of the queue and assessed ahead of other non-priority visa applications. As indicated in the terms of service, the amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa fees, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or if the decision is delayed.

We regret that we are unable to respond to enquiries asking about the status of any application. Any status enquiry should be made to the international enquiry service, details of which are on the GOV.UK website. Staff at Embassies, visa processing centres and visa application centres cannot assist with visa enquiries. You may also wish to view the current processing times for applications made in your country.

A further email will be sent to you to confirm when your application has been assessed and dispatched. If your application was made in a Visa Application Centre, the staff there will contact you when your documents are ready – please do not attend the Centre until you are requested to do so.

Please note that you are advised not to purchase flight tickets until you have secured a visa for travel to the UK.

*List of Appendices:
Appendix 1 - Children / Other Dependants
Appendix 2 - Spouse / Partner
Appendix 4 - Pre-flight family members of Refugees
Appendix 5 - Access Rights to Child

Further information is also available on the UK visas and immigration website.

Kind regards,

UK Decision Making Centre

Oh thanks Phoenix77. This helps a lot. I’m even glad that it’s GTBank as that’s my bank as well. I did exactly the same (paid from my naira account from GTBank using my MasterCard) and it went through without a hitch. I did the payment twice just as you did too. I’m just surprised that the guy I met at the customer service of the bank told me otherwise and my brother backed it up with the GTBank story. Will try to use my account tomorrow since you even did yours a few months back in Dec, I’m sure I should be able to do so too. Will update you on the outcome tomorrow. Thanks once again for your help and the screenshot actually did help

I did mine Dec 20th 2017 so its still very recent and it went through...so maybe it has changed i dont know. Trust me...getting a domiciliary acct is very easy...but getting the dollars to fund it is the hard part...cos the banks wont sell or change for u..they tell u to source for it outside....and going to buy from all these bur-dechange is additional cost....
Attached a screenshot of my debit alert...hope it helps

The tithe contributions are usually means tested, hence fluctuations.......

Thanks Phoenix77. I’ve just finished the payment now using my naira MasterCard and it worked. Yaay. Lol. I used two cards (one for IHS and the other for the main application). Thanks for the assistance. Appreciate it. Now the application is done now... going in for biometrics next wed. Fingers crossed.

Please I am seeing something that’s a bit not clear on the TLs website. They are saying something like I have to still bring in all my supporting documents to the biometrics appointment for scanning to UKVI. How true is this cos I’ve been hearing and actually know is to let your sponsor/partner send the documents direct to Sheffield hence all my support long docs have been sent to Wifey. Please can anyone make clarification on this. Thanks

I actually mailed them to ask if I can change it but they said no that I should withdraw the application and I said OK to the withdrawal and they said they will return my passport within 15working days. So I was just waiting for them to return it so I can reapply.

Then I got the usual passport ready for collection yesterday evening. When I got to tsl and they gave me my passport I just noticed a paper in it so I already gave up that it's the refusal letter so I didn't bother checking the passport, just opened the folded sheet to see that my application was successful and my passport stamped. Come and see the way I shout for inside danfo.

Wait o, Your husband is on a tier 2 visa but you got a settlement visa..?

Wow! Classic case of protocols broken on your behalf.

I had my own hitches; 1) made a mistake in my marriage cert and 2) my proof of eng (master’s degree cert) was laminated. So I truly felt that I wouldn’t get the visa, lol.

Congrats really.

Good morning all, I've just done my biometrics but they didn't ask for my passport photo. I even had to ask the person conducting the biometrics if my passport photo wasn't required. He said no,that they've already captured me on camera. Abeg is this correct?
