I keep reading in different threads that warri pidgin is unique to the rest of nigerias pidgin, how is that so? and is there anyone here who can speak warri pidgin and can write it here and contrast sentences in warri pidgin and standard pidgin I would appreciate it, thanks

IMO,Warri is both the king and father of pidgin language.Theirs is unique because they come up with funny and ridiculous slangs each day unlike other places,permit me to add that other towns sometimes wait for Warfians to coin out new slangs so they'd borrow and use.

@OP but yeah Naija people usually tell me how unique warri pidgin is and sometimes they don’t even understand warris own after telling them I’m Deltan...and they’re like "oh so u yarn wafi’s own?"...and I’m like lol not even sapele.

Is warri pidgin really that hard to understand?

To me warri pidgin isn't qs hard as others say it is. To me the only thing great about it is the Accent and some of their slangs Iam from yenagoa and there is nothing a warri person will say that a yenagoa person won't understand.
