Stop comparing real estate assets that appreciate in value astronomically to Uber cars that lose 50% of their values within 1yr.

You get it wrong brother, he was just using the house rent as the basis of is revenue. He must have done some professional jobs that requires some effort and using that as analogy he's saying if he rent your car for 10 and he make 70 den that as a result of he's effort.

Sir,

The complain of not getting any request, is a way driver want to use in negotiating lower rental fee.

And once you go against their opinion, they come after you.

I didn’t get it wrong. My argument rests on asset, maintenance cost and devaluation and not labor. When you go to your bank to invest your money, bankers will categorize different assets and investments for you and you would quickly notice the dividends are not the same because investment bankers have done due diligence and factored in risks and rewards in preparing an index table, and have come to a conclusion no investments should ever be compared pro rata.

I have a forex manager handling some of my investments and there are classes of high dividends with high risk, and low dividends with low risk.
Uber cars fall in the high risk high reward (HRHR) and that’s why it pays more than treasury bill. Real estate fall below Uber cars in terms of high risk and high reward and juxtaposing them doesn’t make any economical sense.
The investment tool and assets determine the model to follow. You should take ECO 101.

Don't mind them.. That is why some of them remain poor and you see a lot of accidents on the road. They are trying to be rich in one night. I don't mind them at all.

So because you buy savage cars from copart or iaai and ship to naija for uber business has made you a millionaire?

Anyone who comment against your opinion is seen as a peasant.

I have a corolla I gave to a driver and another corolla I drive on weekends aside having a 9-5 pm job, I am not a lazy driver, it's such a shame that a lowlife like you think that travelling outside the country and hustling makes you a made man, I pity the womb that carried you for 9months, just being outside the country does not make you exposed if your thinking faculty is deficient in the required nutrients, Like i said earlier I have 2 cars in uber which migth not be up to the number of sub-standard cars you have but my investment is not in uber alone, you are so childish that you can't see beyond your Michael Jackson plastic nose , I have learnt from the likes of carshopper , gazzuzz, Romeo, ogunvic and so many other frequent contributors on this platform because am a good listener and appreciate people than know better than me but as for you I beleive a cadava is better than you

I am new and not new in uber business. Some of my ogas are on this thread.

I understand the dynamics of this business. I started as a driver partner and now a partner driver.

I also understand the investor stand and also the driver stand on the business.

No doubt it's not easy to buy a car not to talk of maintenance.

The truth is the business is not as easy like before. Lord lugard(s) should please take it easy of drivers.

I understand we don't need to attach emotions to business but please have human sympathy even though some drivers don't deserve any sympathy.
