Apply to as many schools as possible; most importantly those that are not restricted. Find attached the list and links to Msc programs in IT. Check it up one after the other cause some info might have been outdated. I compiled it almost 2yrs ago. Shalom

Do you have a similar compiled for MSc in mech engineering?

Start tomorrow. No need waiting. Also apply via uniassist and get your VPD ready. Complete your online application on April 1st and send your docs to München within first to second week of April. The said course is very competitive to enter so apply as early as possible.

Quick one o Donkafor. Do you think its wise to start processing my certificate verifications and all from now?

Can you mail your school for an extension of enrollment? And explain to them the situation of things. If they can't extend it, mail the embassy soliciting that they should pend your application till you have another admission. If possible, attach the application form(s) of the school(s) to the mail. If the embassy get to discover that your enrollment has ended and it is not up 6weeks, they may reject your application.

Many schools in Germany are actually tuition free so the answer to your question is NO.
Please check daad website to verify applicable schools and course that are tuition free.

Best of luck

A "VPD - Preliminary review documentation" from uni-assist is being required for application to some universities. This is a document in which uni-assist documents your eligibility

Hello House!!!...Please I have a rather strange question..A friend just told me she wouldnt be able to attend her Visa interview appointment in two days time and she intends to cancel the appointment...Does she risk any ban or sanction from the embassy?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by smurfymorello: 1:20pm On Mar 05, 2018
Yeah ..she wouldn't be able to book again for a month or 3weeks at most. She should call the embassy and cancel b4 that date tho or send them a mail to that effect, just to be on a safer side.

Seriously unnecessary argument, Instructions are instructions, and are meant to be followed. The checklist on the student visa page clearly indicates that the LOM should be handwritten.

The fact you got away with typing yours doesn't mean you should mislead others from doing the right thing, since the purpose of this forum is to provide RELIABLE & CORRECT INFORMATION to others

Hello Bros, where did you see me arguing with you or anyone else?

Pls chairman, I didn't get away with anything during my visa application, it was simply "God's perfect work", so please dnt use some sort of language/words when addressing some issues.
If I'm not sure or certain of something, I read and pass without dropping any comment. But if I've facts/evidence on any issue, I simply drop it for anyone who sees it convenient/good/useful to imbibe.
So its never a " Do_Or_Die" thing bros.

I never said going with a handwritten LOM is wrong, neither is going with a typed LOM is wrong either. Countless number of persons are going with typed LOM and ntn has gone wrong with dat. Even Mr. Paulinus while doing his crosschecking/pre-checking won't even ask why ur LOM is not typed!

If you must know, I asked d VO and she told me "They prefer the Typed LOM to the handwritten LOM" quote me on this anytime or anywhere!

I really dnt like it when pple think I'm propagating wrong info when its obvious I'm not. I won't encourage what I know is wrong or damnable because I always take "The Golden Rule" so seriously.

Well, to also tell you that I didn't talk just because I want to run my mouth, neither did I comment simply because my hands are itching me to write anything by all means, let me post a checklist you can find right inside the German embassy webpage. I think with that I'm done with this topic!

Risk of getting Ban for few weeks (precisely 3wks)!

But not honouring the appointment (not coming at all), attract a "Ban Penalty" for up to about 6mths!

hello Gurus in the house,

Please i need some pointers,

I am currently processing my enrollment and in dire need of an appropriate student health insurance.(i have less than 10 days to finalise this). The private health insurance i submitted wasn't acceptable and the school suggested AOK and TK.. The big or rather confusing twist is that, i will be 30 this april, Can't apply for the statutory health isurance for more than one semester (sigh)...Vountary health insurance contribution is a killer...Can i apply for an exemption (hope no negative implications in the future) or just go ahead with the one semester health insurance..

I'll appreciate a prompt and honest response.
