That should be the normal thing but as he said 'current' and GTB, (let's just say I am not a fan of the bank) I just thought they may have such a silly rule just to make money off someone.

Ordinarily investments always mature into the source account.

She should try to reconfirm. I did with GTBank too and the money was deducted from my savings account. I don't expect them to pay to my current account at maturity without an instruction from me. They will definitely pay it to my savings account.

Sent you a pm. Kindly respond. Thanks!

I have a friend that was exactly in your shoes. She got married after her hubby got COPR and her own application was on-going too. They notified CIC and they merged their application, requested for the hubby's COPR and re-issued a new COPR to the two of them. This however depends on the stage you are in your own application as she was already on IP2 so the process was faster.

A big thank you to the person that informed us about the HST refund for WES. I applied on the 28th of February and got a response today that it will be processed within 5 days. That's some cool $74 (hubby &I).

Hi All,

Am new on this section of the thread but not new on Nairaland. Been on the Canada student and visitor visa thread for a while. I have worked for one year in Canada as at January 30th and am ready to put in for my PR through CEC. I am reading through page 1 to catch up. Will be asking questions in the near future. I had my Ielts test last Saturday and have my WES evaluation completed already.

Giving back to the house-

I can help 1 to 2 people every month that wants to send a copy of their Certificate to WES at NO COST. I just spoke with a friends cousin that paid 14,000naira to DHL . People living here can also help out. It cost me $1.80 to send from Vancouver which is nothing. I will choose who to help at my discretion. If I don't respond to you, please know I have chosen someone.

wow!!!
Congrats!

brickspumping:
It was a long and tortuous journey.
It all started in 2014.I sent in application in dec 2014 and they started processing in March 2015.There were long pauses and in between and various forms had to be updated.Police report was done twice and some affidavits. They even went to the point of checking the name on the registered line of my former workplace. They also picked salary payment claim of my former place of work stating that I couldn't have been paid over the counter as the CBN cashless policy didn't allow that.A 45-paged defense had to be done quoting several publications per NCC and CBN supporting my position.Cashless policy was first run in pilot phases and later suspended in some areas. My state fell in this category.
In all,God showed himself mighty.
Passports arrived on Monday....2014-2018...can anyone beat that? cheesy

Since deductions were made and it always reflect in the fellow payslip or salary account as the case may be. Let him get six months payslips and salary account statement as well then back it with LOE. He can add his letter of appointment in order to show the deduction and different between gross pay and after tax pay. I believe this will suffice

OK. Thank you

Good day e-fam

The below is by job title ( history)and responsibilities...for which i used NOC 1111, please confirm that this is appropriate....

i dont want CIC wahala

IT Control
September 2016 – Present

Internal Control Officer
September 2015 – September 2016

Funds Transfer Officer
Jul 2010 – Aug 2015

Hi, your applicable NOC for IT Control is 2171 where your equivalent job title would be System Auditor.

Your applicable NOC for Internal Control Officer is 1111.

For Funds Transfer Officer, you may consider either NOC 1114 or 1212.

All the above depends on you being able to provide reference letter(s) that specify you perform at least 80% of the responsibilities for each of those NOCS as specified in the NOC code especially the lead statement(s). Check them again and decide if you can provide the acceptable reference(s) accordingly. All the best, http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/NOC/SearchIndex.aspx?ver=16

He did not mention he schooled in Canada. He said he's worked for a year. If he doesn't have a Canadian degree he needs to 'complete WES'

.

I have reference letter for them all, but the internal control and IT control are in the same company hence the same letter... does that mean I can use any of the NOC you mentioned ?

Hello everyone,
I can't say am exactly new here as i have followed this thread closely for a while. A big thank you to all you kind hearts out there. I have tonnes of questions to ask but i'm going to take it one at a time.
1. I' m currently filling our post-ita forms and for our pof we intend using land sales as well as personal savings.please i'd like to ask the house if deed of transfer should be included, or will just the bank transaction suffice?
2. The monies we are using are currently in hubby's account.should he do a bulk transfer to my account for accessibility and hope it wont raise a red flag? Another option is for him to do affidavit to show that i will have unrestricted access to the money as the pa. Thank you everyone

Good initiative, thank you for the offer.

People who read through the thread use hellofax to send their certificates, it is free of charge and WES acknowleges quickly with an update to the account.

@GS, please help put a link to one of the hellofax posts so Oga Mesh2003 can keep in case he has other people who need to fax to WES.

1. Include the deed of transfer please. Infact, the more documents you can submit to show initial ownership, transfer and payment, the better.

2. Either one works. Personally I think its better for the funds to be transferred to your account and he just does a simple declaration of gift + supporting documents
