If Yoruba And Fulani Women Finally Decide To Take Beauty Pageants Seriously. by Nobody: 6:47pm On Mar 12, 2018 |
I notice that whenever good looks is the subject igbos are always quick to claim their women are the most beautiful women in Nigeria. And when you show them proof and facts that other ethnic groups have more beautiful women, they will start mentioning beauty pageant winners as proof that their women are more beautiful. Fact is fulani and yoruba women are much prettier than the Igbo's but because they rarely attend contests, they obviously can't win them. I doubt if Fulani women have ever attended beauty pageant before but yorubas have in earlier years attended some and they won at least 99% of them. Miss Nigeria 1957 (first ever) - Mrs Atinuke Oyelude Miss Nigeria 1962 - Yemi Idowu Miss Nigeria 1967 - Rosaline Balogun Miss Nigeria 1968 - Foluke Ogundipe Miss Nigeria 1972 - Victoria Bamidele Miss Nigeria 1977 - Toyin Monney Miss Nigeria 1981 - Tokunbo Onanuga Miss Nigeria 1988 - Wunmi Adebowale Miss Universe Nigeria 1984 - Yemi Fawaz Miss Nigeria 1991 - Adenike Oshinowo Miss Nigeria 1993 - Janet Fateye Miss Nigeria 1995 - Toyin Raji Miss Universe Congeniality 1995 - Toyin Raji MBGN 2005 - Omowunmi Akinnifesi Miss Nigeria 2006 - Abiola Bashorun I ommitted some but you get the drift. So my question is this if Yoruba and Fulani women decide to take beauty pageants serious what will be the fate of our Igbo sisters? 7 Likes 1 Share

Simply because the Igbo's send out their average looking girls to go and compete with your very beautiful Yoruba girls is no criteria for you to pull a list on us..... Even your men go gaga at beauty of the Igbo's when they land east... Yoruba ladies if una like serious pass Government work you'll always chill behind the Ada's of Igbo land. argue with your ancestors!!!!!! 19 Likes 1 Share |

stubbornman:I am yet to see an igbo girl in the city or village who can hold a touch to Yoruba's in terms of beauty. Igbo ladies are pretty average their only consolation is that the real beautiful tribes refuse to compete with them lest they be disgraced. Biafra protests have also shown the naive ones your real faces. Howcan you lie this shamelessly after Biafra has exposed what you look like. Smh. 11 Likes 5 Shares |

stubbornman:Very funny. I meet them on a daily and my stance hasn't changed. The thousands of women in the biafran pix explain those ones. And remember there were protects in about all se states so explain each one. Believing your women are pretty is okay but wanting us all to join in echoing that lie won't work. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

nuoladee: When you die one day and you find yourself in eternity and you realize how pointless the issue of race or tribe is! Then I guess it might not be too late for you. Igbo yoruba hausa ghana european dichotomy is simply vanity speaking. They are all human. So your question is simply a waste of brain capacity to learn other useful things. 13 Likes |

OP shame on you. So you decided to create a thread to validate your argument. From your list the last time a Yoruba won it was 2006. So what happened between 2006 to 2018? Thats 12 good years of dominance of igbo women. The bad news for you is that igbo women dominated their Yoruba counterpart to the extent that they represent the yoruba states too. Op just go and sleep. Nobody said your women are not beautiful just accept that igbo women are superior to them in terms of beauty. They sent them into hiding. 18 Likes 1 Share |

Tribalist thread. I know hate is a strong word, but that's exactly how I'm beginning to feel about this forum if this nepotism continues to be condoled by the caretakers of this website. I dare this topic to hit front-page and that will be the end for me here. 4 Likes |

I really do not find Igbo women beautiful - they are too hairy for my liking. I know some Yoruba guys find them attractive but not me. There are two types of women I find attractive in Nigeria - Yoruba gals from Ogun state/North Oyo and light skinned Kanuri women from Borno/Yobe. Please don't quote me with rubbish - I don't wanna fight anybody tonight. |
