To make sure she turns out better than she would.
Sometimes, she makes me furious, laugh, cry, and proud, just like now.
From Primary 2, she had gone through to secondary, made her papers, have trained on computer literacy before going for skill acquisition.
Today, she has moved to a higher level. She is matriculating at Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, and l am so happy that our 13years together is not a waste after all.
She has long ceased to be a maid in my home.
She is now Aunty's Auntie, my little sister, my children's Auntie. And no one knows she is not my sibling.

Thank you so much madam. As she is matriculating, you are also graduating in training a child to your taste. I thank your husband too for having the courage to train your adopted daughter. You are indeed a challenge to some of us and I am promising you I will take that bold step anytime from now and with God, I believe I will be able to come up with a beautiful story like yours sometime in the very near future. I am indeed very impressed.

I guess you skipped the part where she said she sent the girl back to her parents that she was too small to be a maid...

No I didn't dear.

She sent her back.............."now she is my childrend's aunty.......no one knows we are not related"..........I simply read even between the lines of the entire setup. The only way these two things I mentioned are possible is if she, the girl is leaving with the same Madam that helped her.

Someone will come and ask me if she hadn't been a maid would she be now graduating.......small ones.

She sent the girl back and her entitled father refused, asking the woman to take her back to the city

This is the same dream I had for Bibiana until the Christmas of 2016 she went to spend Christmas with her family and the next thing we heard was that she was not coming back again, I was so disappointed and heart broken.
