As an experienced traveler. Most of the time it doesn't make any sense to travel internationally by road especially if you are not going to the next country A to B. Its even more expensive, exhausting and very time-consuming. I've met Nigerians in all sorts of shitty countries, places their families will never imagine they are. Stuck and semi-destitute. Some, where misled. Some really had an averagely paying job in NG. They quit and embark on such regretable journey without the right sets of skills. The people that really survive the road those type of skills are not taught in any school. That's why Gaby spoke about the real 419. The one on one thing. Anybody outside the realm will never know the real GUY MEN schemes. Those are the real hustle. Some pick it up out of necessity to survive. But in reality, there is no victimless crime. The governor of your state embezzling funds, Might not think that he is creating victims such as the road travelers. Road travelers commit crimes along their way creating more victim footprint. Dodgy human smugglers. Dirty border cops. Greedy businessmen who get hooked on GUY story.

They do lie when they call home too. Spend 5 years in some shitty place. Have kids that will never meet their extended families. I've always prayed for the spirit of fear. And that spirit of fear lets me realize my limits. The point of return. It's good to try. But when water pass garri, it's no more a worthy drink! The experiences are one in a lifetime unique experiences. But I always make sure I can go back home. Don't be afraid or embarrassed about deportation or returning home with nothing. I'd rather go back and restrategize; then make the move again.

Maybe I'll create another nick to be more expressive. I rarely comment. But an avid NL reader since its inception. Gaby sounds authentic. Unless he is telling another man's story.

I can't be 'realer' bro..I'm not faceless and if this story gets anywhere further than this trust me you'll find people to corroborate my story. It'd be more stressing lieing or telling someone else's story trust me.

My Sojourn to Spain By Land would be nice! Here, It's vague, and people will wanna see how you did it, so along the lines, the narrative will change to a pitiful One, and they'd want to see the experiences and where the story will end! You'd have seen that from the psychological attachment of few people that read the seeming prologue here.

Sojourn to Spain by Land too cliche.

You need to keep readers interested you don't explain everything in the title like Nolllyword people. That's very uninspirational.

Ajala by Gabzy Unereka (sometimes titles should be the last thing you think about) First you have to develop the story. And as the story develops title ideas will come which you keep on a side note.

Chapters Title can be: Edo 1978, Agadez 1999, ...Cadiz 2002

Was just on the travel section opening a thread to start chronicling my story and before i could modify and post topic was removed and i got the following mail from the mod,so i leave you guys to judge how someone will on the one hand claim to be fighting against illegal immigration and on the other hand giving the below excuse beats my imagination on the true definition of contradiction and hypocrisy :

"You may good intentions for starting that thread in travel section but i think it will do more harm than good to many Nigerians who are desperate to take life-ending measures to European. That was why i removed the thread." justwise

And Gaby, before you start contacting people, don't be misguided! You're not writing a story. It's an experience you've had and writing a narrative must have a focused theme, it must not be vague but there should be an element of curiosity in the topic. Once they start reading, forget, they'd want to get to the end.... If I see a book titled Agadez 1999 like you suggested, I'd just move on without wanting to know the possibly outdated historical event.

This is a baseless allegation, I'm personally doing the opposite of what you just stated.

Your topic would have encouraged people to take such a dangerous journey.

I'm surprised that you are making some reckless allegations despite your age.

Any idea how many Nigerians that have died, sold as slave or deported from Libya through that route recently?

That is what uninformed illegal immigrants from Nigeria and other African countries do constantly with a disastrous consequences.
