Just remembered how in the course of the journey one of the girls had gotten knocked up by someone she can't place and how she had gone into labour and everybody scampered in different directions except me. I helped Christy bring into the world a cute little baby boy and christened him Tyson right there in the desert. The boxer Mike Tyson was at his peak then.
How i managed with the delivery? Even me sef tire for the inspiration and inexplainable direction on what to do.

Really. You must be in your 40s now. Think I was in pry/sec sch during Mike's reign. I hope Christy and her son made it. Too scary to think of. Btw, you owe me (your book).

Lost my baby sister and I couldn't get to see her before she was buried. She was just 10 yo
I feel you.

I was 7 when I lost my mother. The following year my big brother was brutally taken too. (He used to tell us to round our house until we hear "a voice from above" calling us, then we would go inside. Mind you, this was everytime the neighbours daughter was with him in the house and the voice supposedly belonged to the Almighty grin. Loudspeaker and his ultered voice).

4years later, my twin sister drowned whislt we where fishing, never found till date and that makes me understand your pain. My dad says one must learn to live with the pain. It never goes but, learn to be happy you even had the person in your life. You wont believe it if I tell you it took us years to be able to even speak about that day.

Let me also mention that he (my dad) has done an applaudable job raising me, even if I say so myself. Now I am trying to get him married, he says he is waiting for me first...... .everyday argument.

Be well

I was writing exam for my babe back in school and was caught. The lecturer ordered the security to pull all my shirts and I had only one nicker on and paraded the whole faculty of Biz Admin. No camera phone then.

We were thought how to make Shoe Polish on board but instructed to prepare it at home and submit as assignment the following week. I was afraid of the teacher that took the subject then, so I obliged to carry out the experiment.

I was done with everything and was about to bring it down from fire, in the cause of transferring the pot from stove to the zinc, it got exploded and the hot substance with fire sprouted out of the pot and poured on my right part of the body from head to toe but my leg was mostly affected, other parts are looking good now cry

Spent 7weeks at Lautech Teaching Hospital Oshogbo because it was a 3rd degree burn angry

Had to learn how to stand on my legs like a toddler after 4weeks and started walking the 5th week.

If you schooled in BICAS that time, you will know me by now

It's getting interesting by the second and secondly because it would help in advising a friend who is planning to use the Libya/Mediterranean route to Italy.

Thanks.

I don't know the right session to put this,
I believe the Moderators will move it to the right place. I know we've all had various experience in our lifetime either the good or the bad one. But I believe a particular one would always forever be in our heart which is very hard to forget.
Mine was on the 3rd of Oct 2012 when I just recently gained admission. We were to resume newly January 2013. I fell sick and I was given a home drip by a nurse called by my mum.
That fateful day, at exactly 7pm I noticed something strange happening to me. My skin became swollen and my tongue and head was becoming bigger (as I imagined tho Lol). I signaled to my younger sis who immediately called my mum to come check me out. Without wasting time, she called the nurse on phone who was suppose to come check me around that 8pm.
She rushed down too and explained I was reacting to the drip. She suggested I should be taken to the hospital. I saw death that particular day, but I was grateful I survived.
Since that day, no doctor or nurse fit convince me make I come collect drip make I answer ooo.

Let's also hear you out, share your experience.

The day my dad told us my mum has left us ... She died, the woman I loved most died without any last words.. Since then iv been struggling with life.. She died when I needed her most.. I couldn't continue my education because of her demise.. my dad died too this year tho my mum died some years back around 2011 I'll never forget that day and the way my dad announced it to us (your mom has left us) i cried uncontrollably. I don't think I have ever cried like that before and i will ever cry like that again.. Ps, I wish she was still here. I wouldn't be struggling with life

Gaby, if an American Film producer could get hold on that manuscript, the movie will be a hit like Moonshine and other Black Folks drama. My suggestion for you is to write this your experience in a book, don't post it here, never can tell, anytime an opening comes, use it... I'm seeing an Oscar worthy movie right now ? Do you feel me my nigg?

Day I will Never Forget...

So it happened that I was a in the polytechnic then. I was a memeber of Deeper Life Campus Fellowship. Now we were to attend a central campus fellowship program @ Minna, so we were all mandated to travel to attend.

On the day of departure, students from school of nursing (mostly ladies) joined us. Fortunately I sat down with one student nurse whom I always admired. Occasionally we stared at each other. Now she sat by me but I couldn't muster courage to talk with her. I just kept cool. Also, I was too scared to toast almighty deeper life babe then. As we journeyed, I slept off as cool breeze fanned the embers of weather induced slumber.

Suddenly I was awakened when the bus came to a stop only to discover that while I slept, my mouth was opened. And slime (spit) came down on her hands. OMG, I felt like dying. The way she looked at me, I still can't decipher if she was angry or not cos she didn't show it. I just wiped of the spit with my hands and pretended nothing happened.

Trust all through the program I didn't see her. I have learnt never to sleep carelessly while in transit.
