If a woman tries to fight against feminism she's not supported or coddled simply because she is a woman. Then we will be hypocritical and as sexist as the president of Nigeria and America. Feminism is not forcing you to be a feminist. It is just saying, you have a choice. You can be a feminist if you want to. And you can choose to remain subservient and under the control of men. Just don't be a barrier to our fight. Don't be one the ones saying: I allow a man control me and I did not die so all women SHOULD do the same.

btw Stockholm syndrome is a personal psychological problem. The person affected will pledge undue loyalty towards the specific guy or male captor, either in an abusive relationship or kidnapping case.

Therefore, the person(woman) involved will not develop hatred or love/empathy for the entire male gender as a result of this syndrome. So there is really no absolute connection between the syndrome and anti female rights sentiment among women, except you have a research to prove a contrary opinion.

In addition, it only applies to those that have actually suffered abusive relationships, not any random young lady against the idea of feminism. I bet many young ladies on this thread or nairaland as a whole can't be seen in this bracket

I will let you in on something, I know a very strong feminist who achieved a lot for women liberation and her career, but suffered from Stockholm syndrome all her life.
