In Nigeria, the properties of a deceased man without a will most times revert to his relation if the widow doesn't have a son for him.

It is a sexist tradition. Not that a daughter is begging to inherit her father's property. Even if the fatherless children are 3 and 7, no provision is made for the care and welfare of this children if they are girls. Because, the female children belong to the mother and have no say in the property distribution.
